"Coin Requirement: Please be aware that the Coaster does not come with the coins needed. To perform the effects shown in the video, you will require either one gimmicked magnetic coin (like a magnetic Half Dollar) or several regular ferrous coins (coins that are attracted to magnets) (British 10 Pence coins are recommended).
If you use ordinary ferrous coins, please note that they will only stick to the suede side of the Coaster. In contrast, gimmicked magnetic coins can be attracted to both the leather and suede sides of the Coaster.
    ---
Penetration, the seamless passage of one solid object through another, ranks among magicians' most cherished magic effects. Within the realm of Penetration effects, the Coin Through Cup, owing to its use of everyday items, has secured a special place in magicians' hearts.
Although numerous ideas exist for this effect, concealing the gimmick within a coaster stands out as a popular solution. However, many coasters available might raise audience suspicions due to their unusual appearance, excessive sleight of hand, or the presence of peculiar bulges.
Hence, we've collaborated with Terry Chou to introduce an Everyday Carry coaster prop - 'The Coaster.'
As shown in the trailer, this ordinary coaster can facilitate the illusion of coins penetrating through its surface and ending up in a cup. Its appearance integrates seamlessly into everyday scenarios.
In the tutorial, there are two routines included, one from Terry and one from Jay. Therefore, you can perform the Coin Through Cup effect regardless of your skill level.
    Key Features:
    Portable and Convenient
    Easy to Set and Perform
    Coaster Can Be Examined
No Peculiar Bulges, Electronics, or Mechanical Structures
    Made from Black Walnut"

Really like your reviews. I subscribe to various magic review sites and find yours to be most honest and straightforward. Please do more and more often.
TCC does have high quality items. I have the Tunnel and Grandma’s miracle and love them!
Disappointed to hear this doesn’t come with needed coins.

I’m glad you get value from my reviews. I still have 5 tricks to review over the next few weeks but the more people who share my reviews and the more subscribers the channel gets the more products I’ll review.
If you’d like more reviews I simply ask that you continue to watch them, like them and share them. 🙏

Thank you. I do my best to get reviews out!
Sometimes I’m tired and don’t feel recording but nice comments of people saying I saved them money or they love a product I recommended remind me that I must continue.

That fills me with pride reading that. I used to watch other reviews and I knew they were talking nonsense. That’s why I started my channel, so it makes me happy.
Please do share my reviews. The bigger the channel grows the more products I’ll be able to review.

I could not agree more about magic producers making their instructions downloadable. When I buy a product, I am buying the prop/gimmick but I believe I am also entitled to 'own' the instructions, and be able to view them where and when I want to, and to store them/keep them. In saying that, the other issue right now, in modern times, is downloads that are so big! Today I downloaded a tutorial that was more than 1GB in file size. That could be a problem for some people, in terms of their computer's ability to download it quickly as well as having sufficient storage space. It may well be an outdated form of media these days, but personally there's still a lot to be said for getting instructions on a DVD. Purely my own opinion, of course; some will agree, some will not. But your point about instructions being made downloadable is something I whole-heartedly agree with, 100%.

Two new magic tricks arrived today; one had a 1.8GB download and the other was even bigger! It is getting a little ridiculous. There is certainly no need to film tutorials in 4K.

@darrenbane7804 yes, there’s no need. I convert all of my tutorials to 340p and instead of 1gb+ they’re less than 100mb. The software I use is free. It’s called Handbrake.

That was the question I had: is this durable enough to use as an everyday coaster? Will it withstand liquid spills? Is it waterproof and can easily be wiped clean? Will it withstand a hot mug?

It’s certainly not waterproof but it is durable. I wouldn’t recommend letting children or pets play with it but it can definitely handle a bit of water/coffee/tea spilling on it. I’m not sure about soft/fizzy drinks though.
It will wipe clean. One side is easier to clean than the other side as one side is a hard material but the other side is felt.
The hard side should be fine with a hot mug but I wouldn’t recommend the felt side.
Overall I think they are good enough quality to use as a household coaster.
