  • Machining the bearing housing for the spindle for two 32007 tapered roller bearings. External diameter 80mm, shoulder diameter 85mm, length 145mm.

    Hello. Thank you for the great videos. Very good work. I have a question ... how will you later pull the bearing races out of the sockets? Regards

      I tried with screwdriver and worked. Is not too tight. But yes i forget to turn a bigger gap for puller. If the if the screwdriver hadn't worked, i would have made a puller with two clamps with sharp edges and a screw inside the two clamps that pushing the clamp edge between the race and housing

    What type of steel is that?
    I have some 3" 4140cr I want to use.

      Is some kind of carbon steel but i dont know what is.. it has a bluish-gray color and is softer
