Great detailed video
awesome video. I like the Era 2 just because it's stealthy
supper informative, I ride EUCs and know little about esk8, I needed the foundational knowledge, I didn't think much that there seem to be some descent budget options to dabble into the sport with, thanks for the breakdown, I can see you put a lot of thought into it.
Glad to help!
great review are there any group ride even in the city?
Great video! Super interesting to see the aspects that each board shines at, and that turn/lean diagram was really informative 👌🏼
I ride a Zeus pro but it’s pretty wild to see that boards less than half the price can go 70% as fast 😳😳
Jungle bell, jungle bell, Exway all the way🤩
excellent analysis👍👍
Great review! Very thorough and detailed. My stock G2 Black 2020 battery lasted for only about 250 miles. Did you have more miles on yours?
Yes 1700 miles lol
Where you guys riding? looks like a nice chill spot.
The forgotten borough Staten Island
Could you post a video on the Backfire Era 2's hub motors, please?
Haven't seen a single breakdown on what sleeves it could fit.
Yea sure
@@esk8nyc thank you.
@@esk8jaimes Hey man I’m just gonna comment here about the backfire ERA sleeves, so basically it’s similar to the old Meepo boards where the sleeve is glued onto the outer wheel of the motor. So you can’t really take the sleeve off you have to replace that whole part. Luckily Backfire sells this on their website.

@@esk8nyc ah, so if it's like older Meepo wheel sleeves then you'd have to saw and peel the PU off to fit larger 120mm Cloudwheel Donuts!
W post
I never let go
👍👍
Which has the best after sale service I find backfire great but just can’t get a reply from them
Honestly they all reply pretty soon but exway and backfire definitely have faster shipping to ship a part or something Meepo can sometimes take too long
Hey dude, whats the white helmet ur using?
Nobleman TK02 Helmet link is in the video description and you can use code ESK8NYC 👍
@@esk8nyc 👌🏻
Should I get a hub motor board or belt driven?
Hub motor board will be more efficient but less performance meanwhile belt drive will have more performance/braking but needs more maintenance
what do you mean by performance? like comfortableness? is the braking on each one better or worse, less touchy ig
@@zibboyz9225 Performance as in acceleration and braking power and hill climb
@@esk8nyc do u prefer one over the other?
@@zibboyz9225 Honestly I like both it depends on the situation your in and the area you ride. For example I enjoy using the hub motor board when I’m doing short commutes because the board is lightweight and not attention seeking. However I would prefer belt drive for daily use on the actual roads because of that comfort and the power and braking to be able to keep up with traffic
Meepo v4s feels smooth as dish soap compared to backfire. The G2 feels so cheap and flat. I hope not all of their boards are like that.
G2 Black was released in 2018 so they just need to update their boards it’s been a while. The Era V2 is very nice tho
exway flex solos
How is it holding up?
Exway flex pro beats all of these
Wow you guys are not all that knowledgeable.
Anything we’re missing?
@@esk8nyc there are lots of remotes that can adjust toque and braking . The boards you choose to ride are all low budget except the exway . And in my eyes are about at least a year old for this video. Try out tynee for instance. But most of those boards are lacking 😕 and out dated
@@davidheath2427 Yes I understand your point but this video is about the best BUDGET board for the bang for your buck. And yes these boards are a year old but it will still help people decide. I included the exway because the flex is the cheapest exway board you could buy which is considered as a budget board for exway
