- In June 1945 the 25th Dragoons received their first Sherman DDs at their base in Cocanada (Kakinada) India. 86 DD tanks were shipped there to take part in Operation Zipper, a plan to capture Port Dickson, Malaya. Luckly the Japanese surrender cancelled this operation. We have found a few of the Sherman DD's left behind, full video coming soon.

I do research on existing Sherman tanks. I have been to India and visited a few of them there. Any information that you can send me on the locations of any that are there would be helpful. You are welcome to any of my information.
Our full video with photos and GPS locations will be coming out as soon as we have enough hits on this video, so please share it about as much as posable and the full film will come out once we hit our targets, thank you.
