    When using chunky, Smoosh it helps the glitter lay flat. You can smoosh after 1 hr of applying glitter with glitter glue! I love using it but takes a little to get the hang of using it

      Thank you! That was likely the problem. Two layers of unsmooshed chunky 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

    I use Crystalac also. I sand after 6 coats. Sometimes you will hit your glitter if you sand on the first coat.

      Yea I’m working on a few others and it is looking like 6 might be the magic number for the first sand job

      Hi! Once your surface is smooth, you can sand your tumbler lightly and apply your adhesive vinyl using transfer tape. Would you like a more detailed video on applying vinyl?

    Hi,
    Do you also wear a mask with brute tone/Crystalac? How much do you use on a plastic tumbler? If & when you do plastic can we have a tutorial?

      Hi, no you don’t need a mask with BT. It’s water based and hardens as the water evaporates. I’m currently trying to figure it out on my acrylic tumblers and I’ll share once I get it down

    What can you use instead of crystalac glitter glue? I'm from Australia so it's expensive to get the glitter glue

    40 layers yikes! Did it use up most of your brite tone you purchased?

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  Před rokem +2

      It did! 😂 The good thing is… I’ve changed much of my process so I can get one done in about half the amount of coats as on my first one. So I’m headed in the right direction. I’ll post an updated video soon 🤞🏾

    40 coats at 4 hours per coat? 🤔

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, and about 3 coats a day. It took me waaayy longer than expected. But it was likely the fact that I had two coats of that chunky-ish. Just don’t do that 🤣
