If your talking about the Mayo incident, the guy litterally smashed his face with a stick with a few seconds left in the game when the avalanche had pulled their goalie and they 100% need Mack/Makar to get that last second chance in if they want to win

      As an Avs fan, I want a cup so badly but not because I want "my team" to win it (which, of course I do), but because Nate works so hard and is so determined. His disappointment after getting knocked out of the playoffs last year was brutal. I hope this is the year for him.

    my favorite rivalry of all time is the avs and yotes because it makes no sense why they have such a bitter rivalry when they’re one of the best and worst teams in the league and haven’t really had a competitive history

    • @margaretpritchet
      @margaretpritchet Před 2 lety +1

      The RedWings was the best rivalry

    • @BoomerKeith1
      @BoomerKeith1 Před 2 lety

      The old Avs/Wings rivalry was so heated and intense and there was usually a lot on the line when they played. That went away as both teams dropped off. When the Avs got it together again the Wings didn't, so it was the perfect time for a new rivalry and the Coyotes played the role. There's always been a bit of a rivalry between Colorado and Arizona teams, but the Avs/Coyotes does get heated and it's not like there's a long history of them hating each other. But it's fun to watch.

      What? I'm guessing you don't watch many Avs games if you think that. Every single game the Avs play the opposing team goes after Mac. He puts up with so much crap and stays focused on his game. The very few times he does respond it becomes a big deal but that's bullshit because he puts up with a lot. "Rageaholic" is not even close to what Mac is, and completely false.

    Mackinnon's lack of sportsmanship is beginning to sink his own team...in the series, he argued with the ref while the other team skated off and scored...As a Habs fan, Mackinnon was quoted as saying Nick Suzuki did not deserve to play in the all-star game...furthermore, he hooked Kayden Guhle and Guhle took a dive. MacKinnon got a penalty but before going off the ice he started a fight with Guhle...not great sportsmanship...I hope someday that some player will put MacKinnon in his place...he's got it coming...
