- On a delivery flight that departed from ATS in Everett, Wash., and landed in Dallas, new uniforms and our Boeing 737-800 aircraft with Heart interior (featuring the new G7 galley and new seat) were on display. None of these new elements would be possible without the hard work of Employee design Teams and departments from across the Company.
Omg Southwest, you did such a good job on this new livery! This gives your airline a better impression! :)
I am so happy to see my favorite airline in the whole world improving so much, I can't wait for my next SWA flight.

I fly two days from now on Thursday from Chicago to St Louis and the plane I will be on is a 737-800 and I fly back to Chicago on Monday on a 737-700. I am actually packing up write now for the trip. I will be visiting my sister and her family and they have a built in swimming pool.

I love the new seats but the uniforms look a bit too uptight to me. I know that you are trying to be professional but it feels like you are going the legacy route with the vest and ties. You need more color and patterns to still have a fun and approachable feel. Solid color jackets, vests, and ties just screams business know it all.
I miss the old seats. The old interior could've taken a more modern look to the old one. It's just that almost every airline now has a grey or blue seat. What set southwest apart was the nice seats (very plush, too!). I guess southwest has joined the other guys now...
Trust me. I've discussed with people who flew on this interior. It's much nicer and more comfortable too

Southwest was set apart for low fares and service...Not seats. Honestly, SWA needed to come up with a new look and to break way from the traditional cheap low cost airline servicing only America. Most people are satisfied with the current colours therefore I don't see a problem. The new SWA seats are wider, and have functional headrests unlike the older interior. Not to mention the improved galley for the crew

Is it true that SWA will get the -900?
I haven't heard of SWA getting the -900, and wikipedia's chart of the airline's orders doesn't show the -900.

If only southwest had international flights I mean like to Canada and Mexico Nad Europe and Asia Ik southwest wants to be a low cost airlines with just using the 737
On the 737-800, 737 Max 8, and Max 9 with ETOPS they could fly to Europe, Canada, Northern South America, and Hawaii.
Unfortunately, ETOPS regulations aren't always in favor. Fortunately though, with the MAX 7x and MAX 8, WN could start those routes.

Why not put the Evolve blue and tan seats on the 737 Max too??? The older 737-300 seats.
Because they are looking at ways to advance to make a more comfortable passenger experience
How about putting tv screens on the back of the seats
You can watch movies for free on the Southwest App which doesn't need data since each plane has its own Wifi

If I had to guess It most likely has to do with the age of the aircraft and how it works well for the plane

They do not need tvs, because you can watch tv on your tablet or phone while you fly, which is cheaper for them and you
Still no TVs on the back on the seat how are you supposed to be entertained not even a overhead tv
You can watch movies for free on the Southwest app since every Southwest plane has its own Wifi. Or you know, look out the window, I swear its more entertaining than you probably realize.
