That’s the thing about depression, you don’t need a reason it’s your brain and hormones. I’m glad you’re able to talk about it in a safe space, don’t feel guilty . 💘🥺
I'm a mom of 5, this is totally normal. Your hormones are trying to regulate and being tired makes it worse. Try to sleep as much as you can and take time for yourself too. If these feelings continue after a few more weeks you will want to talk to your Dr. though. Congratulations! She is so adorable.

Postpartum is something that most women go through Torie being that your new mom it’s OK to talk about it you will get through it because you have that beautiful miracle baby that you brought into the world please rest assured you’re not crazy, you just can’t explain what is happening to your body or your mind. Torie , I am an RN and I want to assure you that what you are feeling , as everyone has told you, is completely normal. Your mood swings are most likely caused by the huge hormonal shift after giving birth, that your body is going through. My suggestion is for you to find a support group of moms who are experiencing or have experienced the same thing. They may be able to suggest some things that may assist you with dealing with this issue that many new moms have tackled.
Stay safe don't get pregnant at three week as I did😊😂 Both born the same year Jan & Dec😂avoid that. You're a beautiful couple enjoy life, and your little cutie pie.♥️😇🙏🏽

Awww It’s totally normal to feel all of those emotions. It’s going to be okay, you got a great support system and just take things one day at a time.There is no such thing as a perfect Parent. It’s also helpful to find support groups to talk to other moms. It’s good to have another mom to vent to and relate to. Also, Travis hang in there 6 weeks is a long but the wait will be worth it 😂😂❤️❤️

Hire a night nanny? I'm a newborn care specialist in my city (Las Vegas). Families hire me full time (at night) for 3+ months to be with the baby at night until baby is sleeping through. Postpartum depression is definitely exacerbated with sleep deprivation.
Angie, with Covid 19 not sure if a night nanny would be a great idea now.

@@destinyking828 I've worked non-stop since the "pandemic" started. All my colleagues (thousands of us across the country) have also stayed super busy. People with money always need/want chefs, nannies, personal assistants. Covid shouldn't scare you. It's just a virus. My last family ALL came down with Covid....yet I continued to work full time for them. I'm super healthy and never get sick. I wasn't concerned for a millisecond!!

I feel the postpartum depression is more of?a sense of being responsible for a new child. And being overwhelmed with the responsibilities of making sure she's safe. Cared for..

I feel you Torie. Being a fast time mom is very tedious. I had bad headaches for three days till I was told it was lack of sleep. But your second will be easier coz you will go easy on yourself. Right now you are focusing on too many issues and trying so hard to be the best mum. Travis, you are amazing. Keep it up.
I love that you talked about this, it’s honestly really hard to admit. And I was in denial about it for a long time. I thought you had to be sad all day to have post part in but it’s not true. It’s almost like a mood swing that shuts on and off as well. Not only are we tired. But the baby needs us. It’s tough.

I totally relate to what you're saying Torie. When I had my son who is now 18 months old, the beginning was very rough for me. I had post-partum blues. I would find myself suddenly crying/having meltdowns. Having lots of anxieties and doubts about if I could really take care of my baby, if I could be good mom as this was the first time I was bringing someone into the world who would be dependent on me and my husband. Even with the amazing support of my husband and mother, I still struggled with these feelings. I also had a planned C-section due to placenta previa.
It all gets better with time. It has definitely gotten better. And it's been such a joy watching our son grow & mature into his only little person.
You're such a beautiful family. Winter is such a cute and adorable angel from heaven. I love the way that you always love on each other and you call each other baby all of the time. You're great parents, continue to keep up the good work.

It does suck! I went through it with all 3 of mine. Like you, I have a wonderful and supportive husband who at first didn’t understand, but quickly got it! Find time for yourself and don’t feel bad about crying. I actually got pregnant within the 6 weeks soooo, we too had difficulty waiting. I love that you were able to share and watching the both of you. It’s beautiful to see the love you share and congratulations again. 💕

Sorry your feeling this way but I had the same feelings after I had my twins and it’s so difficult but this will pass there are so many home remedies that you can try to help you through it, you won’t feel like this forever give it time and make sure you make time for yourself xx

Yeah ...that depression!!! It happened to me too, nostalgic of my life before the new baby, the responsibility of taking care of the new little being at all time, not being able to sleep enough not anymore 🥰🥲😍❤️

Best advice I can give you is to sleep when Winter is asleep. My oldest daughter use to wake up every two hours. My husband was in the military and we were stationed in Germany. No family 😢 around. So when he was gone in the field for training for a few nights to weeks at a time I was all alone with a new born at 22 years old. My postpartum depression was horrible. You look amazing. I love you guys ❤

Postpartum is so serious until the doctors had people to come to my home making sure I was alright - what really hurt me was the father wasn't supportive but thanks be unto God I came through it - Everything just turned around for me. So you have Travis that's so kind and supportive - that's the key - Blessings!!!!!!!!!

Sending you so much love. I watched my sister suffer severe postpartum depression. Because of the severity, I had her move in with us so that she can have some help since her husband worked more than full time.

You look amazing!! Lucky you are, after my C-section. It was a roller coaster for me, stayed in the ICU for nearly 7 days due to high blood pressure, extremely swollen feet, I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was ok but wasn’t. Most concerning was my blood pressure. Once I got out/discharge of the hospital, I quickly ran without any underwear I’m wobbling wanting to get home to my baby boy. Oh boy got to him and just love him!!!

I went through the emotions after having my two children and I was just like you. Like why am I crying and feeling depression right after having such beautiful babies? Thank God my husband was understanding and very helpful we would talk a lot about what I was feeling and than we pray.
It's going to get easier and you have an amazing support right there next to you
Torque in the last video you guys made I knew you were going through post-pardom I said Torie’s going through. The only advice I can offer you is to keep going. Don’t let the depression overtake you. The minute you become overwhelmingly sad, immediately think if the opposite of that is making you sad. I know especially with having a C-section, it is hard ..... JUST KEEP PUSHING....you got it ❤️❤️❤️
