Walt Disney's "An Adventure in Art" Season 4 Ep 25

From Season 4 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 25: An Adventure in Art, which originally aired on April 30th, 1958. Realizing that the Disney Studio is seen by many as an artistic trendsetter, Walt spends an hour discussing the various ways different people may interpret the same artistic piece. A book by American painter Rober Henri, The Art Spirit, is used throughout the show as a reference, and Walt reveals it has been an inspiration to him for many years. There is a segment where four artists paint an old oak tree in Burbank on their own time, it has been released separately as an educational short, 4 Artists Paint 1 Tree. Edited out due to copyright are the following segments: Two Silhouettes from Make Mine Music (Disney DVD), a clip from Sleeping Beauty (Disney+), Trees from Melody Time (Disney+) and The Toccato and Fugue from Fantasia (Disney+).
