Egyptians were not all black because there were many color peoples that resided in ancient Egypt just like it is now in Egypt and in every other pagan and idolatrous land. Africa is predominately black but not all black due to africans blending with greeks under the rule of Cleopatra and Alexander The Great and other white leaders. And Psalm 78:51 proves nothing but that Egypt was founded by Ham, a son of Noah. It says nothing about color. However, it does say their firstborns were destroyed because of their carnal [fleshly] and idolatrous rebellion against God. What does the word African mean , it's origin.
"Africa" is a Latin word denoting (terra) "African land, Libya, the Carthaginian territory, the province of Africa or later on as Africa the continent." The term "AFRICA" also denotes "Afer" "an "African." The Latin word originally was used only in reference to the region around modern Tunisia; it gradually was extended to include the whole continent. It is also a word denoting the sons of Afar or Epher. Like every other ethnicity, the name of the landmass is usually named after the progenitor of the people who lived upon it. The people who you consider "Arabs" today, who are of a lighter skin tone received this lighter skin tone by mixing with the lighter Japhetic lineages to become the dominate ethnicity in those regions today. Google the Ottoman Empire invasion of Middle East, Africa, and Saudi Arabia for more information. If you do any research whatsoever, you will see there are still large populations of so-called black people in areas such as Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraqi, Libya, Palestine, and such. Just google image any of the following terms to help you better understand: Afro-Palestinian, Afro-Iraqi, Afro-Yemenite, Afro-Iranian, etc. These people will tell you that many of them have lived in these lands dating back to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The modern term called "race" is a political term used to establish a caste system of hierarchy based on skin color to control economies and commerce by the 1% who rule.

It is true that they are in the African continent, however there is a very large Arabic influence as the Sahara desert stretches right across the continent and would have been a natural barrier of sorts preventing the North and South of the continent from coming into contact. If you look at the North Africans they do look more Arabic than Africans (and more African than Arabs!).

Light eyes and skin originated near Caucasus (22-40000 years ago) and were probably passed to anatomically modern humans in the last 6,000 years. I believe Adam’s sons were dark. They were more than likely medium brown and black. Sumerians paintings show that their people and Semites or ancestors of Semites in the area were black and brown. They were not that many generations from Adam. Many ancient people around the world show drawings of dark people - ancestors of Asians, ancestors of Europeans. The dna of some of these ancient people also shows dark skin. If people were light, they were albinos.
The genes for light skin could have been in Adam’s sons but I don’t think so. Some of the people in the Middle East would have still had light skin by the time of the Sumerians.
It’s only important to know that they were black and brown to the extent that we get can rid of this idea of skin color based race. And the idea that certain qualities are due to skin color (intelligence, lack of intelligence). Anatomically modern humans come from the same place - the Middle East. They had dark skin. I know that people will say anatomically modern came out of Africa but dna shows anatomically modern went into Africa and Asia. People have spread out all over the world, evolved through micro evolution, sexual selection (of certain traits) and interbreeding with hominids, and come back together to breed with each other for thousands of years. Different groups have changed eye colors and hair colors and skin colors for thousands of years. But Jesus came in the flesh of the line of Mary, who was of a pure line, and the Holy Spirit. We are no longer slaves to the flesh. It doesn’t matter what race you claim, or your skin color but that Jesus has redeemed us.
