Fantastic rundown of some awesome mods, Ceb! I haven't been keeping a very close eye on the modding scene lately, so it's really cool to see how far they've come!
I am praying that the modders will add some single player modes to the game. I spent some time in game master and this new 6-coop mode but it's not enough to playing Reforger as solo :/

I think we will once the AI gets a little more love. I love Reforger (200 hours on steam). But I still play ARMA 3 a lot because I have a lot of single player options. Random Infantry skirmish and Ai mods keep it more immersive. But once reforger gets AI to ARMA 3 level or better the game will take off. It just we need more content but we have to remember it isn’t ARMA 4 so reforger like the most exciting demo ever😅

Arma Reforger runs so damn well, I am hoping to see a DayZ/Zombies mod for it!
There is a zombie mod. But it's pretty bare bones

@@purple-gw2vm Nothing beats good old Arma DayZ, not DayZ standalone which really sucks, the engine is cake and the mods are awful for it.

I ❤ Arma Reforger.
I mainly play solo in the Gamemaster mode creating my own scenarios on the fly placing opposing factions against eachother the jumping in it just watching it play out. I need more mods, more fun mods to use in the Gamemaster mode. Id like to see a Bigfoot mod where it pretty much like that indie bigfootgame where you hunt, get attacked, lay traps while the Bigfoot/s run wild I'd also like improved helmet cam with a cam in the gun looking back at me like how there's a mod for that on Arm 3, some many fun mods on Arma 3 that I'd love to be in Arma Reforger. Pls guys make more mods I know there's a lot I need more to have fun with in game master

Can't wait for Arma 4. I did not get Reforger since it is multiplayer only and I do prefer SP games. Any news of Arma 4 anywhere?
Its in development but we dont know anything about a release date.
Reforger is pretty much just a testing ground for Arma 4

The best part about Reforger on Console is that half of the mods just aren't usable, for no reason, even when they are properly installed. Apparently "will appear in arsenals for all factions" is a lie.

The thing is, some mods will overshadow the other mods if they basically do the same thing.

Hey, when I was using the RHS mod on gamemaster, it wouldn't let me control any units I took control of, including player units, is there a way to fix this

The question is, will the modding scene for this new engine become golden before or after arma 4 releases.
I don't think so as the tools also progress over time. But modders will be more experienced by the time Arma 4 is out

For the Navy ship, can you walk on it while it's moving and not moving?
I doubt it. Looks alot like the ships in Arma 3 which are basically 3rd person chase cam with 1st person on guns.
No, I tried and you die because of the velocity. If it's slowed down enough it works

There’s a mk17 in the arsenal you can place in the game master, unknown if it’s from a mod I have or not.
Are there any mod where the snipers use Ghillie suits? Would be nice to have them hunt us in the jungle environment..

Most of these don’t work anymore due to the game updating (helos , vehicles are buggy)
RHS is still the best modding for arma
Worthy islands is a great map, I just wish it had some preset game modes I’m awful with the tools maker

They are from RHS Status QUO. Just models for now. One of them even has a fly by animation.

moddern games more like an empty office where the developers come in and set up the desks and computers and software, then go out to "hire" modders to come work for them for free in the office
More like two parallels where both benefit eachother.
The strength of Arma has always been the modibility. And Bohemia is encouraging that, which is good.
I can only imagine what we could have if games like Ghost Recon Wildlands offered the same (or just half of it).
I try to play rhs status quo modes and missions but nope mods keep needing to be downloaded over and over again such a piss off

The oldest model came out in 1979. There are newer ones used in the military today (google the UH-60M or L) that definitely are modern variants

@@CebCine DayZ is the scam. It was built on an unfinished pre engine for enfusion. Ten years later, the vehicles still dont work properly, which were a basic feature of every DayZ Mod experience. They abandoned the standalone features, but they worked alot to port it to the consoles to make more money. DayZ Mod and its community made bohemia big and that its how they reward it.
Well, Reforger is kinda a scam too. They call it "Reforger" instead of "ArmA 4 alpha" to let you pay twice.
I hate them, but they are unrivaled..
Sadly this is dead in Australia and surrounding nations.

On a server yes
RHS (Red Hammer Studios) Has told the community to get fucked when it comes to their mods on Reforger, rather than separate the mod into smaller packs for ease of downloading, as reforger doesn't handle larger scale mods very well, especially so for updating them. In a few DMs where my community merely suggested to separate the pack into smaller packs, as the single mod now sits at a whopping 1.7 Gb, we, and the community were told to "Suck it up, we're just gunna make it even bigger now." So yeah, I'd avoid RHS like the plague and support a team that supports the community.
Telling people to avoid RHS because they want to develop a mod how they want is somewhat counter productive. I'm sorry they responded in such a childish way but it's better to leave them to it and focus your energy on friendlier mod teams/individuals.

I can't download most mods. Only the very small ones on xbox. It is a memory issue. Xbox only has 10 mb of storage for mods.

when we ask for stability and better connection, better netcode, server, no more despawning items when you turn your back.
We get fucking wildlife instead....like..bruh
and it figured with an all time peak of 6,194
and a 24 hour peak of 512
Bad take in general. Read the updates. The game is more stable than ever. Don't forget it's Crossplay, so steam charts numbers are worthless

compaired to its older brother, arma 3. it has a 500% boost in player population on steam alone. compaired to reforger. and not to mention. arma 3 is PC Only. and it still is wiping the floor with a MULTIPLATFORM CROSSPLAY game.
its statistics. reforger is just not a good game.
it would be a good game. but i feel the comunity is just not being listend to.
the fact that reforger has a a peak of 6K and a 24 hour high of 500 and arma 3 has a hight of 56K with a 24 high of 18k tells you all you need to know. @@CebCine

Its so ignorant of bohemia taking away most of the modern era mods on xbox leaving PC favored once again 😒 😑 i paid for my game like most of everyone else we deserve modern combat on console as well not just PC for frig sakes why does bohemia feel the need to be so ignorant towards console players and controller players period 🙄 Aholes to say the least
Bohemia just updates their game. The mod maker needs to update the mod accordinly. Try RHS mod, they keep their stuff up to date
