Watched you riding this Lee but the seat is way to low for you , your legs should be a lot strighter and not bent to that extent when the pedal is in the lowest position. I'm a cyclist and learnt this the hard way. Your a tall guy and your frame size needs to be XL.
Not a cyclist Lee. Your geometry for that bike is way out. Get someone to fit you out correctly on a bike, frame size, seat height etc. it makes a big difference.
Lee,I bet that fly was crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle !!!
Thanks for sharing lee
excellent video lee the best one you've done so far i need a bike myself but looking at the price of it i might have to wait a while i love the camera angles it blows my mind when i see you riding the bike on the public road it fascinates me 🤯 🚴
Lee, Imagine if we'd had a Raleigh Chopper Electric. The world would now be a different place! As the market grew up we would all be riding very cool electric chopper bikes and living the dream... oh, yea.
Those were the days!!!!!!! :0) Raleigh Nottingham
Main thing is how darn cool you look in that helmet doing wheelies
WOW!!!😮 LECCY LEE THE BOY RACER😂😂(BOY) Jeez, in some parts of the world that saddle would be outlawed 😮 my eyes started watering just looking 😮So a very nice looking Strawberry Milk Shake.❤ and that's all she wrote! Until the next proper video Allan&Family 😊
Lee. After seeing your review, I was quite impressed, so I contacted crazy bird to ask a few questions. 1: the charge time is ludicrously slow @ 9hrs and 2: they will not split the package of the mudguards and the rear bike rack so you have to purchase both together! Up until that point, I was going to buy one. I told them I saw it on your review so keep up the good work my friend.
Cheers Stuart. 👍🏼
9 hours……not acceptable for me.
This is my first comment lad, im glad you enjoy your electric bike, but doesnt get me quite so excited. Good to see you in better health now too. Of course i love the trips to the Homeland, as a child mum and dad took us to Pudsey we lived in Bramley but sometimes took a walk one way to Pudsey and catch the 65 back. In later years i know mum and dad use to go every week for fish and chips, I think it was called the Wetherby Whaler. I was grown up by then and living in exile, had to go to university and where work took me! Born in Yorkshire always a Yorkshire man. Its reet grand!
I have been riding my latest e bike since i bought it in 2013, and with its top brand 30 ah battery it will still take me about 50 miles. (100 miles when new). Still using the same brake pads too. I stsrted e biking in 1999, when they werent so good, but this one was and is a keeper.
loooks great fun..enjoy the lake district.
Looks a great bike lee😊
Wonder if the camera lens gets smashed this time around.
Excellent camera 🎥 work and editing my friend
Thank you. :)
It’s great . Was out on it last weekend.. 👍
Cheers Lee the bike is awesome
So much fun and it surely does go some 👍🏻
😉🕶️
Looks a good bike enjoy 👍
Got the bike a few days ago. your report is very good and informative ... my questions is, maybe I have received a bad charge ? I hear a clicking/cracking noise when I pedal with my foot pedal .... the bike seems to drag u a little bit to the left ... these two things bother me a little as well as the brakes are poor, the result out of it, or the brakes needs to get used to "break"?
....and not to forget .... your video is mega coolio ....like it a lot
Does it have different frame sizes? I was told years ago you take your shoe off, sit on the seat and your leg should be straight hitting the lower pedal, when you put your shoe on you then get a slight bend at your knee
Fly 9/10! 😂 Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside 😉😂
Good review. Have a Carrera Subway-e with that Bafang motor - only 250w but torque is immense for its size. Hydraulic discs are a complete revelation too. Perfect for me, at a senior age, with abundant bodily creaks and groans!
How it the bafang 250w going up hill just thinking of ebike but unsure if i should go bigger but we all know the risk.
@leenlou3562 I personally think 250 is underpowered for steep hills. The Engwe would easily do it. But abide by the laws of your country 😉
@@TheMacMaster I do like the look of the dyu you was on in the lakes did that suffice, and of course i will respect my country’s rules.👍
@@leenlou3562 most have 7 speed gears too, so not a real problem on normal hills - 250w copes okay with good torque.
I would have liked to have seen how it ascends a very steep hill. Seems pretty cool.
Lee, would you want to ride it if it was pissi*g down ? No mudguards !!! 14:34
Mister Macmaster not a bike fan personally but must say this looks the business & If I was interested in owning one your recommendations would go some way to deciding what to have 👌
Lee good review but I hate doing this being mtber on full suspension bike I’ve built the bike your riding is hard tail may tell what front forks travel you’ve got the quick release maxel but that type could do removing and replaced with a Allan key on the motor is on back wheel so as soon as pedal that’s why rapid unlike the ones on crack when setting up saddle height put you foot with heel on pedal and leg straight that will get more to right seat position maybe explain what the full make of Shimano and brakes model 2 or 4 pot brakes is 203/180mm discs bar length if it’s 760/800mm just something help for you love your skater helmet but gloves if you’d seen my g,over when came off on the trails
Wow that bike would be great for the Lake District
where does it ship from guv does battery come seperately
Great bike how do you get it serviced brakes etc and punctures or new tyres fitted ?
@@geordiejones2 its not its an electric bike bought online specialist parts
Hi Lee, Ive been looking at e-bikes for a while now. Waiting for a pacemaker to be fitted so I'm not allowed to drive, after watching yours and others videos on the 'Jumper' i have bitten the bullet and just ordered one, an orange step through version. so looking forward to riding it to work. Its up hill all the way to but obviously down hill at hometime. Will message you again after I've run it in for a week or so. Keep up the great videos man ;-)
You'll enjoy it. Great Bike. 👍🏼
Lee your becoming an influencer. Nice video.
Hi lee looks awesome mate u like u enjoying yourself 🤗
Just bought one .. can’t wait until it comes… 👍
How are you finding the bike pal ?
I grew up riding some brilliant racing bikes including a special hand built one … I did actually ride them … your demonstration … particularly your braking has put me off electric bikes for ever … you get more exercise behind a steering wheel …
Yess nice Lee definitely coming down in price ! Little john from chichester
Can you compare it with DYU King?
Burning calories so you can fit in another full english?
Good video,😊
Sorry for my English.
Hello, I bought the bike, I have set the levels from 0-9 so that the power in each level is softer and a maximum of 25 km/h.
1.- When you start pedaling it starts at 40 km/h and little by little it goes down to 25 km/h. (dangerous)
2.- At all levels, even if you pedal a little, it reaches 25 km/h. Impossible to go slower even at level 1. (dangerous when driving among people)
In the display configuration there are no indications to increase or decrease the power in each level.
Or am I doing something wrong.
greetings
Looks good. Does the seat go any higher than that. You are to tall for it??
Yeah, just prefer it lower.
My son got his stolen ,in high street.Even with a chain lock A lot of this happening. Fit tracker on ,or get insured.🌹♥️👍😢
Cool video my son enjoyed it 😅 also Jonnyvlogger Pete N chelle who’s been on before is in fuerteventura incase you was wondering of going 👍
Omg Lee I have read several comments and yes you need a larger version far too small for a tall guy like you. I too agree see how long them batteries last for Review in 12 months Regards Keith x
Hi Lee
From burgers to bike at least you can burn some of those fry ups off
You missed one of the specs out on your bike🤔 A square back wheel, from over-use of the rear brake😂
Beware of saddle rash. Since the demise of the old penny ice pop there is no cure
That bike looked wheelie good but I bet after riding it in the heat u needed a brake?!
You know what, pal? I hate electric cars, but I really do like these electric bike & Scooter they look great fun 👍
I have to ask how the hell do you film this, is it a drone? whatever it is it's very clever and a bit like being on a fairground ride.
Insta 360 :0)
What helmet is that?
Looks good mate I'd ditch the bus Shane in Sydney 🦘🇦🇺
Get rid of your car keep the bike you like the bike better than car
Lee what do you do with all the e bikes you get to review?
I think they're usually freebies...
Melts them down to create batteries for the Porsche
Great detailed review, awesome editing.
My only concern is the after sales aspect. This is a Chinese bike, so any issues I can’t take it to my Local bike shop for warranty repairs
Most of the parts are standard.
@@TheMacMasterUPDATE - received this exact model 2 weeks ago & used your code, thx. My only gripe is I ordered the optional rear light but still await delivery. Bike arrived in 2 days using Panther logistics.
Hi Macmaster im looking at both Crazybird and Cyrusher trax. So which one would you recommend between these two i should buy my wife both being step through?
Difficult call really as both really well made bikes. It's personal preference I guess. If you want speed then The Cyrusher, but the Crazy Bird is so well made and a pleasure to ride. Have a look at some more videos, but tbh, whatever you pick you will not go wrong. Have fun as they are really cool fun.
Hi Lee thanks for you reply and thanks to you i will be buying my wife the CrayBird step through version as im sure she/we will get out into the fresh air more then we ever did.
Thanks again keep up the great work.
Throttles are legal on e bikes in the uk but they must cut out at 3.7 mph
Mine cuts out at 35mph
The trick is now Lee, to eat fish and chips while riding the bike, 😉
I just got a giant roam ebike top class enjoy fella
Surely it's time Ebikes came under the same regs as mopeds (registration, tax and insurance) They can do the same damage as a moped to pedestrians and other vehicles.
So can a normal bike. Some racers go faster.
I have a ampere e bike magic
Take it round sherwood pines that will be a rife
I've rode a few crazy birds in my life to....but I won't review them🤔
A maximum power output of 250 watts and limited to 15.5mph
Could you still cycle it if battery died?
YES :0) X
I thought your doctor had prescribed some rest after your recent medical problems.
Yep. Rest every weekend. Back to 100% now though thanks. 👍🏼
The key to staying healthy is to stay active... Good review Lee.. 🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♀️
Yip great bikes Lee most are all the same that and Himiway etc, couple things throttles are ok as long as no more the 25mph, the 'Step-Thru is designed for shorter people, not female! shame on you! There are setting where you can adjust pedal assist from 1-5 to 1-9, people complain its too dangerous, ie quick set off etc. Only downside is in this day and age in our nation it's highly possible you will get this 'nicked'......Alarm, Chain and Insurance advised!
The Step Through Years ago was designed for women who wear skirts. Google It. :0) x
Any chance of a giveaway to an ex army chef please
I'm too heavy for it 😭😭😭
Milk float only this time with two wheels 🤣🤣🤣 did you find any charging points for Ebikes Lee 🤣🤣.
Think you should ditch your Ebike for this one Lee, looks much more stylish 😁😁😁
Lee what have I told you about acting your age not your 13 shoe size 🤣🤣🤣.
10/10 Lee for the vlog u BIG KID 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤👍👍
Very nice! But, like most Chinese crap... any good in 3 months?
Hey hun I must say that bike looks fabulous something similar to what Paul has bought. After he had that Accident. His other bike was a right off.. It has chunky wheels and he loves it. It cost him £154-04 so now I have 2 bikes in the kitchen Paul's and Grahams bike xx
Is this a review on behalf of the ebike company?
It's an e-Bike Review. As I said in the video I only review products I believe in. Travel, food and TECH is what the Chanel is about. :0) x
@@TheMacMaster do you get to keep the bike?
Your bare arms and hands would take a battering along the tarmac if you get knocked off at that speed
Give the bike another review in 12 months and let's find out how the battery's performing then. Remember for some people that's a big investment these days.
It comes with a warranty.
@@TheMacMaster OK not so bad then. Cool looking bike though.
@@rachelshonahague5718 It would have been cooler if I wasn’t on it! LOL x
@@TheMacMaster yes it would lol let Paige have a go next time! Honestly big boys and there toys ...🙄😉😃
Come off one of those things with no gloves on🤔what will hit the ground first??
Give over, came off loads of times as a kid going just as fast as this bike. People too Blo*dy soft these days. What next take a RISK assessment. I do always wear a helmet though.
Tell me that when you're a meat crayon on the road m8😂at our age we don't bounce anymore👍🤣
LOL!!! I actually wear gloves. Just didn't for the review as need to control the camera. But keep that a secret. :0)
😂👍
Looks like a nice bike in the profile. You a Biker? Just ordered a Sur Ron LBX to go off roading in Lake District.
Think if they stopped us driving petrol diesel cars I would entertain a EV I’d get something like this instead
I'm assuming the name because of the designers experience with females? 😁
Nice toy for those that can afford it which is not me
You see a hell of a lot of older people, middle class folk with 2k + E-bikes.
Most young folk have Halfords ebike, Carrera type of E-bikes. Much cheaper. But poorer quality. Sadly
@@SGuy889you can add an ebike kit onto any bike for about 500-750 quid I'd say depending on what sized battery you get. For that sort of price you get a 1000w which can do 30mph.
Who was taking the video?
Isn’t that expensive for a 250 Watt bike?
He's taking the video with a selfie stick and 360° camera. The apparatus makes it look like he is followed by a drone (and does not show up in the video). Look closely and the shadow of the camera and stick can be seen when in the sunlight.
@@mdit21 I thought it was a camera but I didn’t see anything attached to the bike or in his hands.
Will take a closer look.
@@mdit21
I watched video a few times. I can see the shadow of what appears to be a camera.
Yet, I don’t see the camera on Lee or on the bike.
Was someone on a bike ahead of Lee taking the video with a camera?
Lee, how did u tape the video? Why don’t I see the camera?
Did u delete the camera from the video?
@moalf5088 A 360° camera is two cameras back-to-back (each with a spherical lens capturing a 180° photo). There's a blind spot (an area of view in which each camera can not see) created based on the thickness of the camera, and the selfie stick takes advantage of this. Towards the end of the video in the open ground where he is riding, his right hand is clearly holding the stick, but it's "invisible" (except for the shadow clearly on the ground). There is no other cyclist and there is no special video editing required for this effect (the camera's software itself "stitches" the footage taken by each camera together, which also helps in the masking of the selfie stick).
@@mdit21
Well, I went back for another look.
I looked at video end when Lee was riding in the grass.
It was there U could plainly see he was holding something in his right hand. A skinny rod but couldn’t see the camera at all.
I could see the shadow in the grass as u mentioned.
To me, it still looks like an invisible camera.
At least I could see the shadows thanks to you.
At least, I know I wasn’t hallucinating! LOL
Think you have to be careful about the legality of some bikes on the road. Don’t you have to disconnect something to ride on the road, it was on a tv programme last week.
This one is legal in the UK. However as the channel is global. Check your rules in your country 👍🏼👍🏼
I watch your CZcams video everyday
Thanks :0)
Was brought up on cycling always had a bike ,even passed my cycle proficiency,my opinion ,it's great they move so fast, but a find alot of uses ,speeding all the time,on public roads, and paths,is it need for speed, showing off,or late for work,it seems a attitude,no helmets, like quad bikes, dread the accidents waiting to happen,as getting very popular ,have seen few on the road, then decide,go on the foot path,or wrong side of road, also they costly ,if no warranty, like all these electric things, charging up causing fires,a stick to horse cart lol😂
Don't believe everything you hear in the news. In fact. Don't believe anything that's on the news. It's normally the opposite.
@@TheMacMaster thanks lee
Actually A Horse and Cart would be better than an EV lol :0)
🥰☀️🥰xxx
Hey hun I must say that it looks like you were enjoying yourself on that bike. You are a big kid. You have never grown up hun 🚲😊😊 xxx
Very derogatory towards women with that name. I will sent a link to BBC and gmb so it can make main headlines. 😂
What’s derogatory towards women with what “name” please explain?
@@tonyomalley901 Yes the name I was being sarcastic with how people nowadays try to find offence with everything.
Would you consider selling this bike pal ?
Electric car bad. Electric bike good. So confused
It's the power that runs through these batteries whilst charging and discharging. EV batteries have high output and high input on a constant daily basis.
Have you ever charged an old mobile phone and felt the heat from the battery ?
That is battery degradation as the cells breakdown , Ebike owners replace their battery's when they see performance dramatically drop. EV owners have no clue their batteries are at that critical point till its too late.
@@jamesparry1547 thanks tho I am not that techy
Well we have got some amazing companies creating some excellent electric bikes and scooters amongst other things..but when you look back in history when the first bike was invented it took nearly 70 years before a car was.. so come EV car companies it's never going to happen is it 😂 but i wished I could swap your crazy bird bike with my crazy bird wife.. because you can remove a battery from your crazy bird bike were I can't with mine Lol
"250 watt motor"😏😏. They arent fooling anybody 🤣 (except the old bill!)
It's a 250 watt motor. My own bike is 2000 watt. This is definitely 250 watt.
@@TheMacMaster I've had a genuine 250w kit to put onto my brothers bike and it barely reaches 15mph unless on a completely flat road. The bike in this video accelerates a bit too quickly and it looks like a lot more to me. Doesn't look different to my 1500w bike in terms of speed pickup.
