I'm glad you were able to get yourself to make so much progress on your layout! I do like long model railways that terminate instead of loop round, something I don't see much of.
2:58 that's called a double slip switch. I'm glad you found a way to incorporate one into your layout

I would remove those nice curtains behind the viaduct so they don't get dirty from the layout build. Maybe they could be replaced with blinds
