Classic Loki was drawn pretty buff in some 1970s comic books, but not as muscular as Thor so I think this body choice is alright. The costume is also accurate to what he wore then. Yeah the sword is plain laziness and I plan to repaint it. Going to fix the lollipop syndrome and that silly blowing-in-a-hurricane pony tail. As for the face, Loki was drawn crazed and ugly so I can live with this, and I’ll try not to notice that the facesculpt is 30% too big. This is why I appreciate your honest reviews Anthony, they are a road map to fixing any issues on the figures I want to collect. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Depends on the issue, I have seen a few images of Loki being buff, so I dont think that's particularly inaccurate. That said, that doesn't make him a good figure lol

I agree he should be buff but maybe the Pizza Spidey Mold, Vintage Black Panther mold, or Vintage Vision mold would have been better in my opinion. I don't know, maybe it's just my preference but I feel like this bodybuilder mold is too buff for Loki. Even as Anthony mentioned, on the box art he's more slender looking.
In regards to his build,asgardians are supposed to be bigger ppl,plus loki is a frost giant by birth so yeah,i like this look for him,though i wish they woulda made the hair from the helmet articulated maybe gave him a removable cape and a staff but overall itll look good with the 80 year thor and you can always swipe stuff from previous lokis.

Hey Anthony, have you noticed any breaking or separating of the disc hinge or upper body. On the Fwoosh his Loki broke, shartimus prime seemed to have some slight gaping along the traps.
Loki shouldn’t be SUPER buff, but he isn’t skinny either and even though in the mcu he wasn’t that big, in the comics they still regard him as a god so that’s why he’s taller.
The cooler toybiz one is really cheap, even by Australian standards on eBay right now, I’ll be getting that one instead, always appreciate the objective review thanks Anthony

I will buy this figure for a very very cheap price, for customs! Loki head, MOTU boots and ML Iron Fist/ Dormammu's body, and there you got like 40% of your custom project. That is Loki with steroids!!

Gosh!!! Great review of a very bad figure!!! I got him only because I was obsessed with the BAF Hulk...And after I got all these figures and built the Hulk...I was kind of disappointed! You got me, Hasbro. That's life!!! The review was very good and brutally honest. Honestly these days this Loki is the Darwin of my collection 😆. But instead of taking heads he steals accessories. I thought mine broke cuz his whole lower half broke apart, but with some glue on his crotch seam he’s good as new. . . I guess.

And hey, yeah, he could be on that new skinnier "pizza" Spidey (etc) body... but honestly, I wouldn't care if they were ALL on this "typical" "average-build superhero" body....it's the same as new Cap, Vision (latest Retro wave) and so many others, right? LOVE this body. Love Loki integrated with it. Heck...Put a classic Romita Spidey on this body...I don't care.

Am I the only one that wants the whole wave to be figures from the movie the wave is named after? With a movie like endgame with so many characters a 7 figure wave (minus baf) having less than half the wave be endgame figures is just dumb. Rescue, War Machine, and shuri. Three figures is all we get. Really it’s just two because shuri was barely in the movie. Wave one had ronin, cap in the time heist suit which was painted wrong, and ebony maw who died in infinity war but he was in endgame too a bit. The third wave looks a bit better, with 4 of the 6 figures being actually from the movie. (Vision and heimdall were not. Even if they are and I’m remembering wrong they barely did anything). But three of the six figures are reuse (Cap, vision, war machine). We should’ve gotten the blue war machine the first time. I understand how they only have a certain amount of money for each wave which sucks because its why we need figures like vision and Union Jack or Rock Python who are easy reuses with a few new pieces.

The Hulk Build A Figure Wave so far has been a big steaming pile of MEH. So disappointed... and even the Build A Hulk looks like garbage.
