    Thanks a million Roxanne. I have been forced to help my wife with her knitting for the past year. She has dementia and has really been loosing her skills that she has had down pat for many years. You know how very important it is for people to keep their hobby alive, even though they are having a difficult time of it.

    I really like your technical explanations. I tried knitting recently but a bunch of stitches fell off at once and I couldn't get them all back on evenly so I gave up and went back to crochet. Recovering from a mistake in crochet is 100000 easier than knitting, especially since knitting mistakes don't seem obvious to me until a couple of rows down.

    • @RoxanneRichardson
      @RoxanneRichardson  Před 2 lety

      There's a great trick for correcting knitting mistakes from previous rows: you can ladder down a span of sts, so that you don't have to rip back any of the sts that were knit correctly, only the ones that were a mistake. czcams.com/video/-RmexrJRIDo/video.html
