@@JacobCruise everything you said is absolutely true, the atmosphere is incredible and the love and care that was put into HGSS really shows but the leveling is so bad that it sucks cause that’s really my only flaw in this game

6:29 Doesn't Elm call you after you beat the Gym? Or am I confusing this with a call after the 8th badge? 'Cause in the latter's case he gives you a Master Ball.
Im playing it right now and i dont really like it. Im on like the 5th gym and it feels like leveling is really slow and its a lot less guided than other games like black and platinum. No idea why i dont rly enjoy it. I also spent a lot of time leveling my croconaw now hes much higher than the others and sweeps everything, also other pokemon dont seem that good and feel weak.

I also had this game at number 1 for the longest time but after critically reviewing it myself I dropped it to number 3 behind Platinum and B2/W2

It’s a very good game but it’s so high up there mostly due to nostalgia
The low level wild pokemon can be a problem when grinding, although still my favorite.
I think heartgold soulsilver is one of my fav pokemon games. Great video btw
