Ashwatthama didn't know that children were sleeping. He thought that those were the pandava brothers who were sleeping. So children were killed by mistake in this case. Further, the curse was not given after this episode but probably given when Ashwatthama deliberately tries to kill Abhimamyu's unborn child in mother's womb by a weapon that can't be taken back once released. As per the legend, Krishna revives the dead child and then curses Ashwatthama, if I am not wrong.

Ashwatthama went to Pandav's camp / tent with intention to kill pandav's while they were asleep { immoral , unjust act (karm) under the influence of *anger*} and anger made him so much blind that he couldn't even be bothered to check who's asleep in those beds and ended up killing Pandav's sons...
This anger ridden karm also attracted the curse ; off course if he didn't do this and only committed the sin against the unborn (Raja Pariksheet) baby ; he would probably have attracted the same curse from God Krishn. 🙏🕉️🚩

Well if Ashwatthama is still alive today this story surfacing at this time is an opportunity for God's healing process as someone may find him and guru or friend him back to love, compassion, and service. Om Hare Krishna let this seed sprout as we must all come back to Vishnu. Shiva is a devotee to Vishnu. I pray for Shiva to destroy all misunderstanding, ego and hate within Ashwatthama. Aum Durga take Ashwatthama and make him fit to be and worthy stewardship of Earth. May these prayers of my western born mind which has welcomed 🙏 truthful teachings from India positively impact this world and the heavens which shall come here to us. Thank You Shiva हरे शिव.

Ignorence. Shiva is nonduality. nothing exists apart from Shiva. everything that can exist is Shiva. Shiva is ultimate absolute nondual reality. Vishnu/Narayan/Krishna is manifestation of Shiva himself. So Shiva is devotee to himself. and Vishnu/Krishna/Narayan is devotee of Shiva. Shiva is also Shakti. She is mother of Narayan/Krishna/Vishnu.
The MOTHER of VISHNU is UMA(ADI SHAKTI) and The FATHER of VISHNU is SHIVA…
      Read What VEDAS say…
"sá yád dhruvam disam ánu vyácalad vísnur
      bhütvanuvyàcalad virájam annadim krtvá |"
      (Atharva Veda 15:14:5)
"He (Vrata/Shiva), when he went away to the
stedfast region, went away having become
      Vishnu..
"somah pavate janita matinam janita divo janita
      prthivyäh
      janitãghnerjanita süryasya janitendrasya
      janitota visnoh l' (RV 9:96:5)
"Father of holy hymns, Soma flows onward the
Father of the earth, Father of heaven:
Father of Agni, Surya's generator, the Father
      who begat Indra and Visnu".
It also says that Shiva himself manifested as
Vishnu. So, from both Rudram and Atharva
Veda we understand that Shiva does Sthiti
Protection) by assuming (manifesting as) the
form of Vishnu. Also, from above mentioned
verse of Sveta Upa. 3.03 we understood that
Shiva is non-dual. Means he alone exists none
else. Whatever else is seen, is seen as his own
      form/manifestation.
“yaa umaa saa svaya.n vishhNur” (Rudra Hridayopanishad 5)
“Uma Herself is in the form of Vishnu”
Same thing is represented in another way by Adi Shankara said in Shivananda Lahari as,
“Ardha vapusha baryatwam, Gonithwam sakkhitha…” (Shivananda Lahari Para-82)
“Lord Vishnu occupied half your body, Became transformed to be your wife (Parvati), Became a boar to search for you, Became your lady friend to serve the nectar (MOHINI)”
Rudra Hridaya Upanishad and Shivananda Lahari says Vishnu and UMA are of same form (they are same). Sharabha Upanishad and Rudra Hridayopanishad, Rig Veda.IX.96.5 says Vishnu is Shiva’s and Uma’s son…
Mahadeva himself came as Vishnu cause Vishnu is known as shiva's shipivista form.
Let's check it in Vedas :-
      Sri Rudram from yajurveda says:
      "Namo bhavaya cha rudraya cha
      namah sharvaya cha pashupataye cha
      namo girishaya cha shipivishhtaya cha|"
      (Anuvaka 5)
"Salutations to Him who is the source of all
things. And to Him who is the destroyer of all
ills. Salutations to the destroyer and to the
protector of all beings in bondage. Salutations
to Him who dwells on the mount and who is in
      the form of Shipivista (Vishnu)"
From the above verses we learn that
Rudra(Shiva) is the Source of all, protector and
destroyer. Means he alone does the "Srushti",
"Sthiti" and 'Laya". Note the highlight which
says Shiva exists as Lord Vishnu. "Sipivista"is
the epithet used extensively in Vedas for
      Vishnu.
So there's no difference. Shiva is jyotirlinga meaning he exist in everything including you or me or even in nothingness. Shiva is everything and there's no difference between him and Vishnu because shiva himself is Vishnu ??
Hinduism is all about Advaita meaning Non-duality. and Shiva is Nonduality ultimate absolute reality. no concept is greater then Nonduality. no Narayan no Vishnu no Krishna. get lost.

Not everything is healing and love and compassion. Stop twisting the history and God's plans just for the sake of it. That's ignorant. Ashwathama is completing his Karmic cycle. He did some deeds which were unforgivable and that is why was given a curse by Bhagwan Krishna himself. He also has a role to play in Kaliyug especially when the last Kalki Avatar takes birth on the earth. Every soul on this earth has to complete the Karmic cycle and no one is exempt from it. But you can surely reduce the effects of your bad Karma by doing Bhakti and through spirituality.

As everybody know Yudhishthir that he will never speak anything which is not true, Everybody believed when he said Ashwatthama got killed, he was saying about elephant Ashwatthama. That was how Dronacharya felt that it's his son Ashwatthama who has died.. don't create untrue stories.. study the facts first .. it is not a daily soap, it's Mahabharat.. See, you are portraying half of the knowledge. Bheema did declare him dead. Bheema went out to spread the news of his son getting killed. Krishna knew that Yudhishthira will never lie. So he asked Bheema to kill an elephant named "Ashwatthama". Bheema, after killing the elephant, went out claiming he had killed Ashwatthama. Dronacharya didn't trust it at all. So, to confirm, he asked Yudhisthira as he knew Yudhisthira would never lie. So, Yudhisthira told him "Yes Ashwatthama is killed" and whispered "who was an elephant" to himself. In grief, Dronacharya disarms himself, and Dhristadyumna beheads him. So, It was Krishna who asked Bheema to Declare him dead. Dronacharya asked Yudhisthira to confirm if it was true.

Remember Lord Krishna took a similar advantage when Arjun was fighting Karna and Karna's chariot got stuck. When Arjun pointed his arrow towards Karna , Karna reminded him that this is unfair as he was out of his chariot but Lord Krishna influenced Arjun to kill Karna when he had the chance.

Well. Ashwattama swore by an oath and wanted to kill them all that night, but he couldn't even venture into the Pandava camp. The perimeter of the camp was protected by a monstrous & gigantic being. Undaunted - Ashwattama showers his weapons on that being. That unearthly entity ate all of his wepaons. Consumed by defeat, shame & guilt, Drona's son prepared to sacrifice himself to Mahadeva. As he was about to end his own life, a blazing altar appeared and outcame all the ghostly beings, those spirits, the Pramatha Ganas of Ishwara. Wanting to test his resolve, they tried to scare & frighten Ashwattama. Bent upon offering himself to Mahadeva, Ashwattama ventured to end his life. Mahadeva Himself then appeared in person and possessed Ashwattama's body with a sword. That unearthly being was Lord Mahadeva who had guarded the Pandavs camp for the full 18 days war - at the request of Shri Krishna. Possessed by Mahadeva, Drona's son became invincible & slaughtered them all. Krishna himself consoled the Pandavas mentioning this. The curse was not pronounced for that night slaughter, for Aswattama was merely a tool used by Mahakal. The curse was because of his act of firing the Brahmashirsha weapon - the next morning after the possession was over - on a pregnant lady, to kill the foetus!

      Dear Sadguru,
You are wrong in understanding of Krsna as a person.
You have said many times that you have never studied any of our vedic scriptures. Therefore it is not right for you comment on things you know nothing about.
You say when Krishna says " me .... me... me - you seem very agitated.
Krishna as a Person is Sat, cit and aananda.
His name, form, his pastimes are non different because He only has spiritual existence.
So His attributes like consciousness cannot be separated from his Transcendental person.
      He is omnipotent and omnipresent.
All our sastras point to this.
So if you don't know the vedic scriptures, pls do not mislead others by your erroneous statements.
Also it's very offensive to million of people who consider Him as the Supreme Lord.
Lord Brahma, the first born, the grandsire in his Brahma samhita 5:29 has quoted.
      Isvrah Paramah Krishnah...
      Sat Cit aananda vigrah..
      anathir athir Govinda
      Sarva karana karanam.
It will help if you study this verse carefully to understand the personality of Krishna and His Transcendental attributes.
There are a million other verses that describe His Transcendental personality.
      So pls study.... Supadan!
If not keep to your ecological work you are doing like soil preservation, which I find is an important work you are carrying out.
      Thank you.

Even duryodhana was not bad he was a good friend and would have given kingdom to anyone if asked nicely, like Karan, just not pandavas because of their history. Ashwastthama killed UpaPandavas who actually participated in the war. Incorrect fact.

Understood, but what does the unmanifested consist of, if it has a name, it exists, and who gave it that name? The unmanifest must exist otherwise all would be at once, you can't sing a song that can't be sung, so to cut sleeping children's throats must exist "some where" for a soul to "sing" it. Who is the keeper of those atrocities? Our Creator yes, He/She is not what we use words to understand, our entire planets languages can not explain blue to a blind man
