When finish the bak ku tea soup, can request for more soup, stall give foc. Their pork knuckle is very nice too, can ask them for some bak ku tea soup, they give foc. There is a stall that sell nicd cook food, fish, veg etc. The crayfish noodle there is nice but a bit pricey. The lor mee goes well with black vinger (the black bottle next to the garlic.

Please go back hong lim during weekdays... loads of delicious food not opened on the day of ur shoot....Tang kay kee fishhead beehoon stall just beside bak kut teh stall.. serves good tze char bowls.. hor fun.. beef Don.. and prawn paste chicken bites.. served with deep fried enoki and osen egg... go try... there's char kuey teow.. and eddy's duck confit are good... also try the rice dumplings bak zhang on 2nd floor...

Ojisan is very Local. If I see him on the street I wouldn’t be able to tell.
The tofu fa can be served hot or cold without any sugar or stuff.
You have to request cold tau foo fa and say honey on the side

Checking in. Ghib san, re the black herbal bak ku teh, normally sellers use big bundle garlic whole and unchopped and the garlic is boiled with the herbal soup. Sellers won't serve the garlic lah.
Good choice of putting lots of garlic into your lor mee. It's very very yummy to eat likw that. Did you put vinegar too? Must add one ya.
Actually Ma Bo Lor Mee has a few outlets around. Hong Lim hawker is more crowded and busy during weekdays as there are a lot of office workers around the area.
I've tried the curry puff, in my opinion the curry taste is kind of bland, not fragrant for me. Prefer the one in Amoy. I need to find chance to try Soon Soon Huat's.
In your opinion, where is the best hawker Center in all the places you had been to ? And what are your most favourite hawker foods ?
To be honest I'm able to find great food at all hawker centres! Vibe-wise, I like Tiong Bahru, Chinatown Complex and Eastcoast Lagoon!
