Thanks for this video. I'm pretty sure I need to do this on my 2004. I have a lot of oil on the outside of my gasket cover. This gives me the confidence to do it.

I got a p2646, so changed the vtec solenoid. Oil filter. Oil change, n vtc solenoid l. I also got the screen for the part under the ps pump on 03 element. Just got it used, and like you said the coil parts were rock solid, and there was a ton of gooey carbon built up... I cleaned it up and painted it honda Red, but this video was awesome... appreciate it

Excellent 👍 I need to my valve cover gasket, it has a minute leak. Are you just tightening the top nuts to a firm twist or is there a specific torque tightening needed on these?

Yes there is a torque spec but doing it so many time already got the touch . 😎👍

Honda suggest using honda bond at the corners where they tend to leak. FYI Honda uses Honda Bond exclusively without a gasket. So in effect you are using it as a gasket. The downside is that the car has to sit overnight. Personally this method with the valve cover gasket is more old school and I like it better.

If I am not mistaken the factory uses a sealant called Honda Bond and not a gasket. Thanks for the video though

No, they use a gasket AND honda bond (silicone) in the places where this guy used it.
