I was working as a flight attendant for 33 years and was always working full-time.
I wouldn't say that it was always a 'free' vacation.
I really enjoyed my job but it's damn hard work. I also enjoyed many worldwide layovers, but I had to work hard for them.
It looks absolutely different if you work part-time. Then it's less work (less money) and layovers seem to be a 'free' vacation.
@@prestonleeflowers6117 Technically all flight attendants are 'full time', but Stella says herself that she drops trips all the time.

Costa Rica is awesome. Itâs warm and the people are nice. We visited Guancasta. We saw cows just chilling on the side of the road, iguanas the size of small dogs. Itâs beautiful đ . đŽđŠ
Usually rooms with two beds are bigger and they usually cost more because of that. Not always, but often.
Who doesnât love gift shops? Hotel gift shops are the best. Thatâs really neat that you got to go to a country youâve never been to before AND get paid for it. Iâm glad you had enough energy to explore.

Do you ask for two beds when you check in? Or is it a mystery every time?
Curious of how requesting vacation time off works, if you have something prebooked like a cruise can you for sure depend on having those days off? Do you have to wait until youâve been there for a certain amount of time before being able to request off a vacation like that? If so about how long? Iâm looking to apply for some airlines and I donât want anything to get in the way after training. Love your videos đđ

Have you made a decision - moving or staying in the current apt? Plus - a few FA questions.....I once had a particularly outstanding FA on a flight and thanked her of course but I also wrote a note to the airline (it was your line!). Do you guys see those? Do you get any special comp if you get one or a certain number of good ratings? I normally fly in first - are the FAs in first normally the senior? Taking a trip next month...in case a get another fab person, much like you, I'd like to know if it is worth my time to send a note. Thanks!
Stella, you need to be the spokesperson for your airline! I had a really bad experience with your airline about a decade ago and stopped flying with them, preferring their competitor. But after watching your vlogs for the past 3+ years, I decided to give them another chance. Now almost all of my flights this year are booked with them! âșïžAll because your vlogs motivated me to finally give them another chance. I like it when you also feature other FAs. Keep up the good work vlogging! (Side note: I REALLY want to plan a trip to Costa Rica now!)

We taught our doodle to "take a bow," like Granny bowed to you when you got home. Every time he would bow we would say, "Take a bow." Now he bows to say yes (as in, are you hungry? wanna go out?) and whenever we say "Take a bow." He also bows to us if we bow to him. Frank is always so happy to see you, he's soooo cute.
