    received mine DB500H last week. I must say I haven't heard this kind of tones and seen this architecture type from a transistor head since a 1974 Road Electronics amp. Plenty of power for playing with a band and moderate gigs (however, don't expect the real 500W from a classic Class A amp). A perfect little beast for old-school rock lovers. The compact size and 7.1 kg, are very welcome after years of moving old styled 20 kg monster heads and fridge-sized cabinets. Send/return loop and phones+aux in the rear panel are very welcome features, so this little beast also works for personal rehearsal too. Laney nailed it this time. A keeper at least for me.

    • @paniccleo
      @paniccleo Před 2 lety +1

      I feel like it probably does not have an actual valve in it. In all of the copy about it they refer to it as "TUBE" in all caps so as to avoid saying valve/12ax7 or anything that implies there is one. Also the preamp pedal in this series sounds basically the same, and it is written about the same way and certainly does not contain a valve. But in the end, who cares if it sounds good, which it does. Would also make the head more rugged.

  • @extremelysuccessfulbusines9293

    @Lee Anderton, are you aware that Chapman is on the scrounge again? Still buying himself expensive new gear while at the same time asking for fans to fund his next album, even though he apparently has a record deal for it.
    How do you feel your close association with Chapman affects the Anderton's brand? I think he looks incredibly sleazy and dodgy once again. He's revived all the anger against him back in early 2020. If you have him back on your video channel he'll only damage your reputation.... badly.
