How I would picture sentinel as a skilled and gentle leader some what like Optimus but wiser and smarter in technology and he would be a great leader for the wreckers
So when did the "Prime" stop being part of an Autobot when they don't have The Matrix of Leadership while they still function? When Rhodimus Prime gave his back to Optimus, he devolved back into being Hotrod. All the other Primes died to keep their "Prime" status and name. Was it in the comics, or did the movie solidify that?

I Hated Sentinel Prime After what he Did to Ironhide and made the Humans turn their backs on the Autobots and Worst of them all..... In Transformers Animated He Drives like SpongeBob SquarePants.

The Bayverse goes by its own rules. Apparently a “Prime” is more of a title given to an Autobot worthy of being their leader.
