So really the difference between a supercar and a hypercar isn't necessarily top speed, it's price, exclusivity, technology, and innovation. The P1 may only have a top speed of 218 and some supercars can give it a run for it's money, but it has the upperhand in how expensive and high-tech it is.

the P1, Laferari and 918 ''trio'' as they debuted about the same timeframe and had many similrities among each other are the more ''tech and aero'' ''breed'' of hypercars, were their raw top speed and sometimes accelertion may not be as extreme, everything else about them makes them comparable to an F1 or LM car, the cornering speeds, stability, shift speeds, and every other less tlked bout details about their performance is just as or even more extreme them the likes of buggattis and koenigseggs.

I wouldn't consider a P1,La Ferrari and Porsche 918 spider Hypercars.
I mean 350 km/ph top speed sounds way to slow for a Hypercar.
With a Hypercar i expect 400+ km/ph.
Jesko,Agera R,Chiron,Veyron,Hennessey Venom GT etc.
It is isn’t all about top speed with a Hypercar, innovations also play a huge role in hypercars. And the holy trinity where the first hybrid hypercars.

Almost 50 years old Porsche 962 made 405 kmh but it's not really a hypercar or Porsche 9ff gt9 vmax 445 kmh or Porsche Carrera GT 9ff almost 400 but they are super cars but ruf ctr 3 clubsport by having 386 kmh top speed is hypercar it's not really all about top speed and remember that all 3 cars has limited speed they could keep more but limited due to safety

I have been a car enthusiast and automobiles, heavy duty and machines in general since my primary School days. When I was in secondary school I knew almost the name of any car
1 day on an excursion I name all the cars we came across through out the owe journey my friend were like how do you know all this
At a point I knew car to a length I will tell you the make, manufacturing, and far as the year of production including the engine type( 4 cylinder v engine 6 cylinder, inline engines( bmw) and turbo charged engine Mercedes AMG series I even make small cars I don't call it toy⭐👍😅. Ones made 1 capable of the impossible less than 6 inches has a front light back light, a siren, 2 engines( rotor) an ac system using sparay a pointer automated morning alarm a shock absorber a speaker and timing system ( regulated heat turning on cooling fan in the sun ) and a camera
This project took 8 month even though I would have love putting a solar panel back then but I did not have the resources
At the end of the day the small car was stolen by the haters I took it to my college and lo and behold when I got home it was gone
But you what I am happy for the experience
So um is my Shelby a supercar/muscle car or sports car
what would be a corvette graded as? New corvettes are over 650 horsepower and they are pretty aerodynamic too

Well… the turbo S is in a different league of performance compared to the Carrera. For me I’ll say the turbo S is like a hybrid of a sports car , supercar and GT because it has the performance of a supercar, its driving dynamics is like a sports car and it’s also capable of being a very good daily driver. So the term I’ll use for the turbo S is it’s a Super sports car. Also the turbo is an amazing piece engineering, great dream car man👍

That car only goes 350 km/ph. Which is slow compared to real Hypercars like Chiron,Veyron,Jesko,Agera R,Hennessey Venom GT etc.
I mean there are 100's of road legal cars who can go 350. But do you know 100's of road legal cars who can go 400+?

The thing is hypercars don’t need to go 300 mph. The McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 are hypercars but have similar stats to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was also designed to get the best lap time on the Nurburgring and beat those “hypercar” lap times.
