Disclaimer: these supercars are NOT cheap to repair or maintain. If you can't afford maintenance on these, get a Toyota.
Toyotas and Ford's are the best to go with maintenance. The cost is cheap
Well nobody expects this
just check lexus lc500
@@nikitachopra320 yeah but is that a supercar no I don't think so
Or Honda
Well I am not sure about the McLaren 12C considering it's British heritage and the fact that McLaren's second home is the mechanic shop it's probably a bad idea
This is true lmao, my neighbour has got a 675lt, it’s always in the garage being worked on by him or with the mechanic
@@comradehox4006 That's just the McLaren life
I dont know anything about cars but just curious, is this basically saying Mclaren cars are known for breaking down easily or need repairs/maintenance much more frequently than other supercar brands?
@@SyenPie Yes you are absolutely correct, anything else you want to ask go for it
@@am0eba168 thx! not a relevant question but just curious, whats ur dream supercar? mine is lambo or an aston martin (largely inspired by james bond lol)
At 55 years old now, I started with a manual & still only own manuals (4 of them). I'm with you, I believe the best bang-for-the-buck is the manual R8!!! It ticks-off the ultimate dream set-up: a gated manual, a mid-engine V8 or larger... & AWD to boot!!!!!! If only I had the means... maybe someday? The cool thing is, right here in NC @ Underground Racing, they do a manual conversion...so if car dreamers, like myself, finally come-up with the means, but can only find an affordable auto, they can fix it!!! Thanks 🇺🇸
None of these are cheap and the I8 isn’t anywhere near a supercar, the I8 is basically a Prius with a sports car body
0-60 in 4.0 seconds is NOT like a Prius.😏
1. Most Gallardo you're showing at video is Gallardo LP-560, while the affordable one is Gallardo Prefacelift / Pre-LP
2. I can't believe that price of used 360 and Gallardo Pre-LP appreciating, when it was hovering around 65k - 80k, I thought it was gonna dip into 50k
3. DB9 not appreciating compare to 360 and Gallardo, I dunno why. Perhaps it's Aston and not Ferrari Lamborghini, I don't really know why because the car itself is quite good
4. I advice to get Gallardo LP-560 (NOT PRE-LP) for your first-time, if the reliability and durability is a concern. It was camry of sportcar / junior supercar, though the price still kinda high
I read the gallardo LP-560 is $70k. It looks way more expensive than it really is
Thanks for advice. I wanted to buy Kia but now I think I should get lp-560
i heard that even the last versions of the gallardo were considerably cheap though. im also surprised how the 360 is not so expensive, i wonder if its sucessor, the F430 is priced on current day. those were the less exclusive lines of ferraris back in the day and they produced quite a lot of them, so they did depreciate considerably compared to their peers unless the existing ones were to start to get wrecked making the car rarer.
I took delivery on a 2016 Jaguar F-Type R a couple weeks ago. Even with our crap weather, I think I still have perma-grin on my face. Supercharged 5.0 V8, AWD, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, 8 speed auto w/ paddle shifting, one of the sickest stock exhausts you'll ever hear. Mine had just 20k miles on the clock and cost me $62k. It's not cheap but I think it qualifies at the lower end of supercars. I had never heard of them until I got walked easily by one in my old '00 LS1 Trans Am circa 2016. I saw the "F-Type" and "R" on the rear as he pulled away followed by the downright nasty pops. I decided I would have one myself some day. She sits in my garage next to that same Trans Am that I'm having trouble parting with now, but I need to say goodbye.
I bought an F Type R as well a couple years ago and love the car so far. For me it was the best bang for the buck under 70k used.
Its a luxury highend sports car not even a low end super car, still cool though gotta love those f types
"Supercar" 🤣🤣
@@CadillacDriver Maybe not be pedigree, but by performance the R and SVR models actually stand up to being called a a low-end supercar when you consider the fact that they have near-identical performance to the Ferrari California and are faster than cars like the SLS AMG and Murcielago. The 550+ HP variants of the F-Type are highly underrated and considering that you can get them for $45-65k in the used market, they're an absolute steal. Even more so since they tend to be unusually reliable as long as their maintenance is kept up on.
@@Dreznin it'll never be classed as a supercar, no matter what the performance. The BMW M5 CS is supercar fast, as are many luxury sedans. They are not supercars either.
I laughed when he said Germans know about reliability 😂🤣
That was too funny! I can’t believe that he said it with a straight face
@@diverseconscious5262 he said compared to italians so he is right
Well hes right. German cars atleast compared to french or Italian, are reliable
120k for a used Gallardo, I have a friend who offered to sell his Gallardo to us for 80k in 2017. Damn, that would've been an investment.
Better off buying a zr1 or 911 turbo which is 2x faster and newer
@@tonymontana3873 Yeah what a scam, Gallardo wasn't even worth 120k when it first came out.
@@aiv4873 and the car itself will fail and eventually depreciate just like the rest on this list thats why these cars are "affordable"🤦🏾♂️
@BrandoRando I didn't really have that kinda of money to spend on a 2 door back then. I ended up buying a Mercedes GL for 85k, wasn't a great investment considering its like 35k today.
You can find Lotus's for pretty cheap and they give you that supercar feel. The toyota engine's in these cars are reliable and the handling is some of the best. sad to see not to see like an elise or exige on this list.
Because he's listed supercars we can afford...🤔like the title of his videoooo ooh wait.. no he's not. Not one single car we can afford.
Elise or exige, stretch at at lower level Porsche maybe or even an audi r8.
Let's not forget the Lotus Esprit. Pretty sure you can find a good example of the turbo 4-cylinder for less than any of the cars on this list. And, if you just have to have a V8, that's available for the Esprit as well.
A list of supercars that are still not affordable…..
I would likely take the Nissan GTR R35
me too buddy.
Wtf it's not on the list
Should be
I would go for the viper it has the looks and the engine
I wouldn't. Not because it isn't cool or because it has the engine. But simply because the viper is the hardest car to drive on this list and is just borderline dangerous.
Dodge probably say to themselves "it's alive" when they build their cars
@@Gutlesspuppet yeah, got to give it to them though. The Viper is truly a driver's car
@@yeonkimin9179 that’s the point of fast cars it’s always dangerous the viper is a true straight away car with its massive balls
Bruh vipers are not fricking cheap. theyre all like 80k or their out of wack
I thought these were supercars I can afford. There was nothing under $142.10, so damn.
Love your clips and comments keep it coming!!
200mph in 5 seconds? Did mclaren make a top fuel dragster or what
Interesting how each bracket has a pro-am player. Something for everyone. Bravo
I'm reaching with this one, but if the Aston made it on the list, I'm surprised the SL55/600/65 didn't make the list. Cheap as hell, and with some aftermarket tweaking, 200 mph.
The best entry level car from point of purchase and maintenance price is an AMG GTS, they look and sound cool, they dont break much and the prices are under 100k for cars from 2015-2017. I had one myself for 3 year and many many KM and they are awesome ;)
I would pick the ferrari 360 modena because its a DAMN ferrari!
Love the vids Ideal car media!
Feel like I’ve seen this list a couple years ago and things were like 20k cheaper 🤔
That’s true..Things have gone up and I’m sorry it’s a tough call buying one now when all these interest rate hikes are meant to control pricing ...
Double edge sword..If prices stabilize that means your possessions like a home Will will go down in value which means less equity....If prices remain high and rates keep rising , well then a recession hits and jobs are lost ..
Yeah. The used car market is kinda fucked rn.
As soon as he said BMW I instantly knew he was going to bring up the I8.
Why do I still watch this channel
These affordable options are a game changer.👌👌
I like that with your speed claims on the McLaren MP4-12C the 0-60 in 3 seconds was in mph, but your claim of 0-200 in 5 seconds SHOULD be stated that that is its approximate time IN KPH, not mph.
A bugatti chiron does 0-200 in around 6 seconds how can a mp412c do it in 5
@@alantryhard8632 Reread my own reply to know the answer.
@@nickfarcy5124 i am questioning the guy who made this video not your original statement
Very good, nice vid. But you forgot the 2005 2006 CL65 AMG. although it doesn't look like a super car, this thing is a beast. and has all the comforts that the others don't have. 🙂
Vipers are quickly going up up and away so I don't know how long those prices will last lol. Even 5th gens are easy over 6 figures now. But realistically there's not really any vipers that aren't fun, so any gen is dope af.
Ftype Jaguar is awesome. 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. I got a convertible 14,000 miles with 2years of warranty. I get a least 5 compliments a week. All for 70k
You don't see em often as well
Great video, thank you for the info. I own a 2015 Z06 Z07 convertible and love it and am now looking to add an R8 What year would say is the best to look at
me still confused to wether get the mk1 or mk2 miata* :
"Yeah.. ill fetch the lambo.."
The Nissan GTR deserves an honorable mention. You can find one for around 60-65k and for another 15-20 grand it's making 650 to the wheels
for DB9, you could the same performance stats in a first gen CTS-V for about 20k
Love the content! Have you made a video about SUV's that can scoot? 😂 That are affordable. Sounds like a good video to make 🤷♂️ should add the SS Trailblazer to that list, some people don't know they exist LOL
I've seen at least 3 of The SS Trailblazer in my are, one is most likely the personal car of a Police officer.
I’m a corvette guy all day. I’d run the C8. But I love my C6 so no need to upgrade just yet. Great video’s as always Brad.
No upgrade there if you get a c8
@@Bocolatebip true story there bro. C6 is paid for though and it was my dads car. It has an irreplaceable value in that too though. Maybe I will buy my own C8 and then have two.
Too bad GM is a bunch of banditos who stole tax money, headed down to Mexico, and have the nerve selling itself as “Americana.” Corvettes are beauts but I wouldn’t spend a nickel on GM
And that Vette will run forever. They have a dealership or mechanic on every corner of any city in the US
It was a joke putting a Chevy on this video.
My ideal supercar is 2nd Gen Viper GTS. Next would be the C8, could go with the C7 for the manual trans. Honorable mention would be the Ferrari 360 and Maserati Gran Turismo if that counts as a supercar
Gen 2 Vipers are not affordable anymore. Some are pushing $100k.
@@iluvcakes19 yeah, they were coming down, then shot right back up.
@@MrSirjud01 the pandemic reaaaaally messed up the used car market. Especially for us enthusiasts.
@@iluvcakes19 ya, you aint lying!
i'm loving your vids bro
What about a classic Acura NSX. Not quite a supercar, but they’re dope! Some quite cheap.
I'm 3 cars in & I'm getting the "Vibe" that your idea of "Affordable" isn't quite the same as mine. nice cars but none of them will end up in my garage, I'll just carry on building my own.
My dad got an MP4, ripped it everywhere, so nice and fast!
I would go for the m6, in my opinion: if an i8 is a supercar, an m6 is
Since the Aston Martin made the list, I'd suggest the E60 M5. 507 HP V10 and can be found in the teens.
The C8....its new and cost less...with that LS under the rear quarter it's the only one that's gonna keep running
I didn't know I can afford $120k
Love your vids
Surprised Lotus Evora didn't make the list. Def more an entry-level supercar, but definitely a head-turner and one of the last true sports cars on out there, is a great reselling car, literally has the reliability of a Toyota Camry, and you can get the 400 for between 55-65k, with the 2010-2012 2+2 going for the mid-40s
I’m surprise you didn’t mention any of the jdm sports or super cars like: Lc500 or Honda NSX
I know it's not a super car, but I feel like the Mustang Shelby GT350 is slept on. The legendary 5.2 V8 and 6 speed manual make for a surprisingly well handling muscular sports car. It's a fantastic car, and they're only going for around 50 grand.
Nah ..Ford and Chevy don't belong here.
Fuck Stangs, Fuck Vettes.
It's only great when you are driving the shit out of it. It's terrible for just driving around. I can't think of many things I'd rather drive on a track though.
@@JK-zt4ym Well I mean anything with that much power and the restrictions of road laws is kinda hard to keep easy on the throttle. I'd still love to have one though. If you have a heavy right foot, but you drive around town a lot just get a Miata lol. That's what my dad and I both did.
@Gaming4Christ na, the real issue stemmed from the fact that it truly was a track car. The gearing and torque were especially problematic. Basically, if you weren't revving the nuts off if it, it makes no torque. All the gears were super long too. 3rd to 4th was at 110mph.
It was incredible on the track though.
@@JK-zt4ym 6th gear is unbelievably long too lol.
Notable Mention would be the Maserati Gran Turismo MC
What about an early 2010's Lotus Evora? That car looks like a $200,000 car at only around $40,000
How is the v8 the better of the two motors on the r8?
I just sold my Panamera turbo and I am looking to buy a (somewhat older) supercar, somewhere in the price range of 70-80k. But I have no idea what to buy.
I already had a 991, and Loved it. But looking for something else. And for guys saying a corvette C8: LOVE the car, but I am from Europe and prices start at 90thousand euros here. That’s almost 100k. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Maybe a Jaguar f type? Aston Martin rapide? Audi rs7?
The Aston Martin virage was really nice too and good examples are 60-70
try american sportscar (modern ones). You wouldn't be dissappointed.
C7 Grand Sport, Shelby GT350, Camaro ZL1 (1LE maybe even).
You'll be much surprised in the level of engagement, feedback and overall vehicle dynamics.
Bought GT350 with a huge premium (hi import tax), but it's worth it and still one of the fastest car under 100k.
Besides 992 GT3 and 991 RS versions Idk what you can probably buy from EU even under 200k that would give you good drive experience.
Idk what would be even remotely comparable both on feeling AND speed on road course below 100k (well except the hardcore Lotus maybe).
Nissan GT-R
Lotus Evora GT? You can get a new one for less than some of the used cars you listed. You’ll get the exotic looks, turn every head, 0-60 in about 3.5 and close to 200 mph, while getting pretty good gas mileage and Toyota reliability, and unbeatable handling.
for 50k you can also get a brand new porsche instead of that old aston martin
Yeah like the base
@Damian Chiliński I mean regular people will just see Porsche and be amazed
@Damian Chiliński haha yeah it’s definitely not like that in the US 😂 GTs are almost as common as Corollas. Camaros are also common but not as much as mustangs because most people don’t like how they look and it has shit visibility lol but can’t deny it has great performance.
I bought a 2009 Gallardo LP560 back in 2014 with 2500miles on the clock for 79.000$. Sold it one year later for 99.000$. Should kept it til today obviously 😄
Nice to see world class cars. Some from each continent
i love ur utube channel its the best thing ever
cool choice of cars bro
If any of you are searching for a sportive car at around 20k, look up 2005-2008 Porsche Boxsters, they’re beautiful for 20k and they have a flat 6.
There’s also cheaper ones from 1999 for like 12k
What if dodge makes a hybrid turbocharged v10 that gets so much horsepower that you’ll need a stable
Amazing stuff
I have a new Vette. Took 18 months but paid MSRP. Love the car.
the bmw i8 looks very cool exterior AND interior ( 4 seats ) plus it is at around 70k € , also the doors are pretty cools
Can we get a fast manual car. Make a video on it
The R8 V-10 is my all-time favorite car.
Any of these good for someone who is 6'3"?
Take a look at the 997 911 Porsche made from 2009-2012. Higher mileage cars can be had for less than 60,000 and they are very reliable and durable cars. They have 385 hp stock but a full exhaust and tune yields 440+ hp and high 11’s in the qtr mile, sub 4 sec 0-60. Very fast and hold their value extremely well fi taken care of
Good luck getting these insured.
That Ferrari 360 Looks Like A Turd Compared To My LB Silhouette Works R35, Mustang Mach 1, Bronco Raptor And Ferrari 488 Pista
i8 is only one on this list I wouldn't even bother with and love the auto trans in the Viper
Please tell me I'm not the only car nerd that LOL'd when he said the MP4-12C hits 200 miles in 5 seconds lol!
The new Lotus Emira is cool.
nice video bro
sir form which site we can buy these car plz tell sir
Afford as in the price tag? Because these are crazy expensive in terms of insurance, service or whenever something breaks down.
It's interesting that when lamborghini revised the exterior of the Gallardo they deleted the gated manual option. 🤔
Why don’t you link the website to buy these cars or something
“The ugly but incredible performance of the senna” dude the senna is one of my dream cars:(
Sharcione is by my house. They have an awesome selection
Rip,no nsx 😢
Well, the new Lotus will be on this list when it comes out. 70k for the v6 and around 60k for the mercedes 4 cylinder
3:01 anyone knows what the bg music title is? Thank you :)
I would say that even Nissan GTR's would be a good cheaper super car to buy as well due to their relibility, speed and their prices as well
the manual v8 audi sounds good
Honorable mention was valid but what bout the corvette c12 Calloway 😳
the db9 is my dream car
Guys I think I’m a bit drunk cuz all my friends and family says mclaren senna looks bad but I love how it looks
I'd pay less than $50k and get a nice Corvette or Cayman. A used R8 is a pretty good deal though, too.
You missed the SL65 AMG and CL65 AMG or the S/SL/CL 600.
Bought an e85 bmw z4, its the best
where's the b7 audi rs4 ? such a great whip
Your list should include Lotus Evora S
Tbh ur Audi looks really good
how about 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray ? i think its so far best deal atm .
You clearly forgot one. Its not exactly a supercar but since the BMW is on the list im gonna go ahead anyways. The Jaguar F Type. You can get one new ranging from 60k+ upwards
My favorite is the Caterham 620 R
I really want the C8 Corvette but I live in an apartment and I have no garage and I just can’t imagine a life where I have to park that beautiful car outside where everyone can smack it with their door and idiots can sharpen their house keys on it. It’s just too expensive. Guys like me need sleepers.
No mentions of the GTR??
An early 2000s civic/corolla now costs more than a mercedes or bmw from the same Era. Reason being, the maintenance.
great choices but the I8 i wouldn't consider it an exotic . Its looks can be on that edge but the performance is on the low side.
I want the Lexus LFA
I found an Audi R8 Coupé 4.2 V8 Eisenmann quattro B&O 420hp for only 55 grand in sweden but sadly i am not 18 so i cant buy it
I would take Lexus LC500
Now this and its hybrid variant, the LC500h are by far the most reliable of them all. The new Supra 3.0s are among the fastest of those that are not everywhere (so may qualify as exotic in their own way) but their BMW drive trains may not be very reliable.
Oh my god I want the AM
