R.I.P. Fingerbone Bill, D.G 1953-2021 :(
My favourite Australian movie. When I was at Magill Jr Primary school in 1977, Greg Rowe made a promotional visit, landing on the oval in a helicopter! It was close to a rock star visiting!!!
R.I.P. "Finger Bone" 😭
I had the 'privilege' of feeding Mr Percival at Marineland in SA for my 4th birthday. Damn bird nearly took my arm off with the fish, and gave me a lifelong phobia of pelicans. Thanks Mr Percival.
Shelley S You can probably get therapy for that now 😂 I think it’s called Pelicanosis.
Shelley S sorry but i cracked up in laughter about that
Who’s here because of Storm boy 2019?
Love it! I was about 7, and I got to feed him, too! What you wrote cracked me up because in my photo I looked petrified while feeding him! He scared me, he seemed so big then. This was about 1980. My father was stationed in Woomera at the time.
lmao
R.I.P. David Gulpilil
Rest in peace fingerbone bill 🌹

It would be an honor to know him.
Beautiful movie ❤ so meaningful. We all must learn how to respect our Mother Nature .
Takes me back to my childhood
Another one of my favourite movies
We first saw this movie on Iraq TV in 1988 and we didn't know it was produced since 1976 I remember the bird accompanying the boy was called Mr. Persville
A classic film good stuff when I was at primary school
My favourite movie i was like that boy when young loved the adventure
Beautiful movie 👍🏼👍🏼

1 of the 1st movies I saw as a kid. Rewatched it with my 5 y.o last night. I liked the connection the aborigines have with the land and how the story showed some of this. Goolwa is a beautiful beach but hell theres a lot of snakes in them sand dunes!

yo this movie kinda cracked
Ow so the one that i watch is only a remake of this. hmmm
Because they are burying the original versions of movies so all there’s available are the badly reimagined watered down with better looking but same few actors in everything remakes
@@moxie96 Remakes are good for movies for me. so that we will be aware that theres an OG version so its a win wim for both.
