after a bit of time spent with @CritterGuitariInc Organelle M I have decided to share my two cents on this wonderful machine. this is just a basic and very shallow overview of what this amazing little device can offer and where I personally find it a bit challenging. in the future episodes I will cover a bit more and hopefully will give you folks a helpful look into the world of this wonderful musical computer.

literally this convinced me; thank you! I was wondering how synths and samples handled; and this clearly shows. The unit can produce beautiful sounds!
love it, great video! just got 'M' second hand, super excited to dive into the world of organelle!
awesome and I'm sure you're gonna enjoy it :)
@tworoundrobins thanks for the Cosmos mention - I’m hoping to add Compression and loop reverse at some point!
this video series is right up my alley. Big fan of this and would love to hear you talk more about more gear u like! I just got my organelle (the white version) and I’ve been loving it, I agree with your review wholeheartedly, keep it up!
thank you so much for your feedback!
Awesome as always. ❤️🤩
much love! ❤️
Love your content. Keep it up:)
Thank you 👾👾👾
Would love to see you tackle the deluge, especially now that its open source!
Maybe in the future if my wallet will allow :)
Funtastic mate, thanks for sharing 😊
thank you, glad ya enjoed it! :)
Nicely covered, thanks. Cheers. Lee
You’re welcome!
I owned a couple v1 organelles and had them set up for live performance. Got rid of 1 but can't bring myself to sell the other one.
Its a great device and would be a shame to lose it!
Great video. I feel you'd also like the Empress Zoia
Haha I’m sure I’d like it :) been eyeing it for a while as well
The Organelle M and Zoia together are really amazing. I love them both, but the Organelle M keeps blowing my mind. One of the most fun instruments I have ever had.
Thanks! Loved the video. Would you recommend it over an OP-1 and a Monome Norns?
Glad you enjoyed it! As for recommendation; it’s a bit tricky as they are all kinda different. At times organelle seems like a fusion of op and norns but both do some stuff way better than organelle. For some stuff organelle seems like a better choice though. At the end of the day I think a lot of it comes down to what type of music you’re making and are interested in exploring. Personally I prefer norns but that’s mostly cos it compliments my style a bit better. Will do a deeper dive in a future video :)
@@tworoundrobins thanks for your answer! I look forward to that video (:
hello thereish!!
nice, radder-odd-lookin, musical compyooter 😘
I find myself wanting to casual workflow and jamming with you. Let's couchsynth.

Great!..i have Organelle..and wish to understand how to use wifi and Technobears Orac..)….
Its out of my knowledge..)
but
to play around and pair with iPad id great combo!)…and thanks to mention Kosmos looper..i will defiantly try it out!..while i do organelle and its possibly!)
orac can be a bit tricky to grasp it at first but if you take some time with it you'll soon find out that it's well worth the time :) i suggest checking out loopops video on orac
I've used ORAC for a while but haven't moved to ORHACK yet which seems better, I'd probably just go straight to ORHACK in that situation. I watched technobear's videos on it and read the documentation, sorted out all the patches I wanted to download and use, and once I learned how to actually load the patches it became surprisingly intuitive. Super fun combining with external audio and midi, the mutable instruments modules are excellent.
@@benjammin3714 indeed. i prefer orhack simply because it kinda makes more sense for some stuff plus you have sends which is something i think lacks in original orac.
@@benjammin3714 thanks!…so mutable instruments are for regular system or Orhack?…its Techobear’s too?…
i can get it from pochstorage? Right?
And last one..: )
i use external usb to get what i need- you do the same?…( i so in video)) or find out how to use wifi module?

I still cant decide beside organelle or norn shield. You said you prefer norns. I dont gave any coding knowledge so would have to download patches. What do you guys like better?
Personally still prefer norns. You don’t need to know coding to have a great time using any of them fully. Just download patches or scripts and have fun! I’m currently learning coding for norns but I’m certain I’ll dive into PD patching in the future :)
@@tworoundrobins oh ok great thank you for this. could you tell me your personal opinion of which sounds better? I think you said norns in another video. Which one is probably more user friendly and have more functions? I assume norns? Would love to get a build kit but i dont know if they make them any more.
@@joeymc5272 norns in my opinion sounds better as well as has more functions. when it comes to user friendliness I'd go for organelle as it's a bit more straightforward. most of the patches aren't that deep which means you will get a grasp on them far easier. like I said in my comparison video it really depends on the style; if you want something thats a bit more casual but still quite powerful in what it offers I'd go for organelle. if you like more audio mangling, deeper scripts, and dare I say it more "artful" stuff then I'd go with norns.
Perfect explanation. Thank you so much. Now i have to try and source a norns shield kit as its been tough to find. The Reason ive leaned towards organelle more is the portability and
i/os as well as one of my inspirations is knobs from cbp. He praises that thing and blooper is my favorite pedal so. Im not sure how much guitar related stuff you can do with norns.
@@tworoundrobins hey man do you know where to get a norns shield kit nowadays by chance? Not the prebuilts but ones you assemble yourself? Thanks again man
