I'm wondering, if I were to buy a Dirtbike either a 2009 klx 140L or a 2004 Yamaha 125 TTR (i'm a beginner) would I just be able to go out and ride it? Or do I need a special license? Any feedback would be awesome,

you just need to register it at any local atv/dirt bike shop and you can ride it off road. 15 bucks for the year here in colorado

Couple of these guys do not get the concept that you need to keep those RPMs up to get up hills. Those are some very cool trails though
I think its because they start loosing the power going up those hills. It may not look steep on the camera but in real life its crazy. I tried taking video's of me hill climbing but the camera makes it look like its not even big.
keeping rpms up isnt always a good thing. Lower rpms=more traction

Nick Rodriguez with higher rpm's you'll get a quicker speed however and speed makes alot of difference
Ravensheart2000 I wasn't busting anyone's balls. I was just pointing out that you can clearly hear the engines quiet down because they let off the throttle when going up the hills. If they are losing traction, they need to lean back on the seat more. If the front end starts coming up, lean forward. They needto keep their momentum going forward and not slowing down. I know this because I ride too. Yes it is fun to ride, and falling is part of riding. But if you know how to ride better, it makes it all that more fun. And no I do not have any kids of my own yet.
I love these guys. Seem like some weekend warriors having a great time and not ashamed to let the world see.Actually, a couple of them are pretty darn good. I'm not the best rider around and would enjoy a day with them.

This guy who ride a Honda crf450r does he have a problems with valves,how often he made a top end rebuild and that thing? :)
I asking that because i wanna buy a Honda CRF450R 2004 but i read somewhere to they have a problems with valves,so i am curios,you ride a hard trails,so how long your engine last without any rebuild? :D

if you check them with the book there is no problem, but in 2004 bike they can look pour, buy it cheap and rebuild, then check them every 10 hours

depends if u get the crf r you have to rebuild it every 30 hours as if u get the crf x u have to rebuild it every 300 hours and u need to change the oil every 2-3 rides and air filter every 2-4 rides I got a 2 stroke no valve problems

TheeCowGamer, I don't mean to hate or anything but your facts are very very wrong. Do you even realize what a rebuild is? The process you have to go through to rebuild a modern engine, Especially a 4-stroke? A rebuild every 30 hours is completely unlogical. I ride daily, For hours a day and have been since I was about 7 or 8, And not once have I rebuilt a single engine out of 3 bikes that's I've owned since then (I'm 14 now.) And I ride every day of my life for at least an hour. So to me, That's like rebuilding an engine every week. I have a 150rb, which is the same engine style as the 450r and I've had it for about 6 months and not a single rebuild yet, With WAY past 30 hours on it. And as for the air filter every 3-4 rides, You don't need to replace it. Buy a can of air filter cleaner from the honda shop along with the oil and clean it every time you change the oil. There is no way that every 30 hours you'll wear a piston, ring,bore, all of that to the point that it'll need rebuilt.
