It has some scary implications about Batman in general. He could become a god in some way or form if he thinks it's necessary. Might take a bit of work and time, but he could. Scary.

@@joshwright4799 Batman would if it was a regular Batman. Jason Voorhees would rely too much on his strength, while Batman would rely more on his strategic abilities. Bats would probably use this ability to out-think him and find his Achilles heel. But the Batman who laughs might be too reliant on his strength as well. So, it might be a 50 50 chance of either winning.

Death Metal Wonder Woman is the best look she has got in recent years. I do like New 52 WW and Gal Gadot's WW look. It's the blue hair tips that puts her at the top of the list.

I like how they didn't just pull this PU out of nowhere (with her lasso being the catalyst for her PU at the forge), because if Superman or Batman could have done the same with one of their recognizable artifacts, they could be just as powerful in a different way (Ww=Truth, Sm=Hope, Bm= Justice)
Ww facing and defeating a Villain who was all about lies and deception also makes sense.

This pales in comparison to Doomsday Clock. This event should have been stand-alone, with 12 issues at least. The whole thing feels crammed and overstuffed. Inconsequential.

I like how Superman's laser beam is now the same as the Omega beam thanks to his almost complete transformation; it isn't constrained to a single straight path.

Pretty sure other comics have done that many too. She has at least been the most powerful god ever to walk earth at least twice already so this surprises me not. At least it is good to see WW take main protag role after Batman. Has Superman been the main protag though? I think he has but I fail to remember fully.

I find it a little weird that they did a superman 1 million version of her though. I think blue would've looked better, plus they could've just made the excuss "because Manhattan". You know the same way they made Batman a black lantern "because he's batman".
Yeah they do seem to put Batman above the rest of the Trinity, but then make Superman always be the Deus Ex Machina (which Dr. Manhattan explains why in Doomsday Clock) but Wonder Woman doesn't seem to get as much to do, I don't know if it's because her new movie is out soon or if she's just become more popular or what but it is pretty cool she's gotten the biggest role in this event and gets to be the one to take out the biggest villain this time around.
@@Werewolf914 I think it is a demand for WW right now plus it made sense to give the whole trinity arcs for such a big event. I hope we get a WW game in the future. That would be sweet. Maybe give Supes one as well when were are at it.

I love Death Metal
There are other channels covering this story but I resisted watching them because I was waiting for Variant. I love how they story tell. As a kid, or even now that I now have a job, I have always loved superheroes and reading, but I never really know where or even have the luxury to buy a comic. Now, even if I don't get to read the whole story, the joy of listening to these stories makes me truly, madly, deeply happy.

I'd much prefer an animated movie version of the whole Death Metal series. While I do enjoy several live-action superhero movies, ultimately I feel they fall short of capturing the true spirit of the heroes and stories. Animated films have a greater level of freedom, in my opinion, and will do the source material more justice.

Freaking everything is connected and led to this. Let's see:
- Crisis on Infinite Earths ended the multiverse. Infinite Crisis recreated it. Final Crisis made everyone aware of it and sent Batman back in time. Batman was then affected by Barbatos and gathered the metals needed to open the gateway to the dark. Dark Nights attacked. Source Wall broke. Perpetua freed and Batclown became her underling... And so on to now.
If they wanna adapt this with changes, they still gotta include a large chunk og what I've said for anything to make sense.
All it took was nearly a century, and a PhD in existential philosophy, but they finally did it. They finally fixed that hot mess of a continuity.
I... I didn't think I'd live to see it happen. Or that comics would still be around for it to happen. My God... if there were ever ever a time to shed tears over fiction, it is now

Is there any simple site or way to purchase comics? There's been a few titles I've been interested in but trying to figure out any timeline or if I'm about to buy the right ones has always made me change my mind last minute on the purchase. The few comic book stores I've been to when I tell them what title/series I'm looking for they'll take me to it but they've never been right....

@@tylerpierce2349 Which is? There are quite frankly many beings by this point that might qualified for that by this point. If it is the Presence you are referring too, Lucifers dad, then there are evidence that he is not the be all and end all. There is also the thing that just because one has a creator one does not need to worship it or acknowledge it, and Darkseid, the megalomaniac that wants to control everything and everyone, would not really worship anything as he sees himself to be the be all end all. So while it is nice attempt to say he might be referring to his creator there is really no evidence that he subscribes to any worship of it. As I said in the comment it is more likely to be a phrase the writer is familiar with and didn't think if it made sense with that character.

What would happen if we saw this comic book event taking place on the Big Screen or TV shows?
It would be awesome to see something like this in live action but I don’t think it could be done. It would need years and years of setup just like what marvel did with infinity war but it would take even more setup than that and they’d have to dumb it down and change up the story a bit because general audiences wouldn’t understand all this stuff and why there are so many versions of different characters. I mean they did crisis on infinite earths on the cw so it’s definitely possible it’s just hard to pull something like this off in live action with so many characters
