I bet that someone can actually do the math to find how much speed you need to have to complete any jump flawlessly with a certain car. Also, if you want to complete a ramp by turning you should, probably, use the handbrake to make the car spin more before jumping to get that perfect angle coming down.

It's recovery mode, I think it is mapped by default on the INSERT key, but you can map it yourself to the DELETE key on the top right, and it works great. It's also a very fast alternative to CTRL+R, cause it repairs your vehicle at once, and if you hold it, it's similar to a rewind in Forza.
