    Yes. it is stunning! Who could have imagined such detail, and sound, just a few years ago.

      So true, especially for a N-Scale model. Come to think of it I don't believe there has never been an HO BR 01 with all these features. Paul make sure you subscribe to our channel because we will bring out new videos every weekend. We figure since everyone is home we should bring them some sort of entertainment.

    Very nice models, great video! Just a bit history of the Rheingold-Express: it was introduced in 1928, had connecting ferry service to England and connecting trains to London, so it connected the UK with Switzerland. Back then Switzerland was a top tourist destination for the british, so in those first years about 80% of the passengers on this train were british. The train was powered on its southern part by class 18.3 (former class IVh of the grand ducal railroad of Baden) and on its northern part by class 18.4 / 18.5 (former class S3/6 of the kingly bavarian railroad). In 1935 the class 01 replaced those engines on the whole run (except in the Netherlands and Switzerland).

    Those are amazing models. Do the European models function well with American dcc systems? i.e. MRC, NCE, etc.

    Marklin needs to make an Era 2 Br01 with the Rheingold in HO Scale

      Erich not sure if Marklinwill because Brawa will be releasing there new BR 01 and Rheingold cars this year, for more info click here to watch video czcams.com/video/qYwBU5at2Rw/video.html The Brawa BR 01 and Rheingold cars will be state of the art, Brawa spent Millions of Euros on the new tooling. Not sure Marklin will want to spent the money because many Marklin AC collectors will purchase the Brawa set.

    Marklin/Trix continue to produce amazing models but they are let down by he unrealistic sounds. For the Br 01s the whistle sounds too high pitched.

    • @ReynauldsEuroImports
      @ReynauldsEuroImports  Před 4 lety +1

      Chris it is not the sound library in the decoder it is the small speakers in N-Scale models, because there is no space in small models they can not install the bass cone behind the speaker. So for best sound HO or better yet 1-Gauge has amazing sound.
