- It was a full throttle day of racing across the hillside above Pietra Ligure for the third round of the UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Cup and opening round of the UCI Mountain Bike E-Enduro World Cup. The Finale Outdoor Region has a history soaked litany of drama-filled enduro racing so it felt like a fitting place to host the first of the European legs of the Gravity season.

The UCI Mountain Bike World Series unites all mountain bike’s major formats under a single brand for the first time. Making a separate video for the E race would make watching both highlights way more enjoyable, even if it was a shorter format for the E.

Coverage was good but in future I’d ask if you could please separate the e bike racing as it felt like it was just sprinkled in and didn’t cover the racing very well making this highlights vid longer than it needed to be. Hope you can take this comment constructive

Why you ignoring Slawomir Lukasick in your comments? He was never mentioned and he finished 6th in overall - strange.
Honestly though, even when they went over the overall standings he said 1st, 2nd, 3rd place name, skipped Lukasik at 4th, and then continued with 5th, 6th and 10th place.
I think they're afraid to mention him after being lambastered for not being able to pronounce his name correctly 😂

I'm not hating on E-bikes but can someone please explain to me what the point of E-Enduro is? The climbs must be timed?
Yes, there are several "power stages" which are timed tech climbs.

@@blangeleven I think a new XC category like "XC Technical" would be interesting. It's XC racing, but the race is shorter but on a MUCH more technical course, with lots of gnarly tech climbs and downhills that would feel right at home in EDR or DH.

Cannot agree more with lots of you guys... leave e-bike separate, longer and preciser...the way it used to be or even better...like this I didn't get nothing out of that 🤷
The presentation this year is lacking compared to previous years. The series is in danger of getting lost. Bring back the half hour highlights

Please separate the ebike class, some of us like the ebike class and they deserve a recap of their own! This feels like "oh we forgot to put in the ebikes in the recap, ok stuff in like 5 minutes in weird places"

The blurb at the start of the year was deceptive at worst , vague at best:

Love the bike design czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L and functionality. It is hard to align the front tired to center the disk brakes. The brake wheel touches the stationery side of the brake caliper and pad. I aired the tire up to 40 psi as the markings say 40-60psi. Left the house for a few hours and came back to an exploded innertube.All in all it seems to be a good bike. Have not ridden it yet though so that's the max of my knowledge. Update, put a new innertube made sure the tire was set properly and it did the same thing in under 20 minutes as second pic shows.

Leave the E-bikes out of it. Feels very shoe horned in, breaks up the flow of the real racing.
Don't get me wrong but this looks like a rushed job... Last year we could watch EWS E and EWS in separate videos, with separate highlights and both videos were about half hour so that's almost one hour of content. Now they're both "packed" in the one video... I suppose it didn't help that both races are held in the same day...
Hope Discovery allocates sufficient resources to get back to the same level of coverage, especially if both EDR and EDR e will always be run in the same day.
Please put the e bike in separate video so we don't have to try and skip that nonsense!
I dont see much difference with DH.
There’s considerable difference… Take one of these enduro rigs down Val Di Sole and see if you feel the same way.
Try climbing one of the liaisons in a DH bike to see the difference 😂
@@DoMN15 the original guy claiming not much difference from dh was the point of my comment.. The enduro tracks are tough but they are not wc dh tracks by any stretch.

Separate vids for guys and gals too like Red Bull did would be nice. Kind of a long video and it would be great to choose the video for who you want to watch or both if that interests you. For me I could care less about the female category and fast forwarding is a pain.

And e-bike racing should be restricted to 35+ so manufacturers aren't robbing good young riders from the real bike category.

In my case i dont care that much for motor vehicle racing. So for either reason lets keep them separate
