On the other, predominantly female and teenage audience drives merch and concert sales, and it’s shaping up to be two summers of women dominating music. So, is Simon broke that he needs to take on such massive project? And, also, we all know that Alison is 100% 1D fangirl/fanwoman, and she’s not sold.
I do miss X Factor - it has been off air now for around six years. It should come back. Strictly Come Dancing has been allowed to have free reign of Saturday prime time in the autumn, with ITV1 never really putting up much of an effort. We need it back in 2025.
