Jami you could get married at the courthouse with a few close family members of you both, then have a nice “reception” party where you can present to your families and share that special moment. You can have someone host who would do things like announce y’all’s entrance as Mr. & Mrs., ask people if they wanna say any loving words, etc. Y’all can even say your vows again and have your first dance as husband and wife. The theme color can be red and you show up beautiful in white of course. No extra stress. Find a venue, hire a caterer, and a decorator or have family/friends help decorate the venue. Save money, make memories, and enjoy your special love ❤

@JamiThatsMe I attended a reception like that. The reception was at a very nice restaurant which has plenty of room and a bowling area (where kids could bowl and have a chaperone while the adults enjoyed themselves). This is a place known for Sunday brunches and has overflow outside seating. That place catered everything and the family/friends decorated. They hired a dj and a photographer (with a photo booth as well). Everyone had a great time.
Re: the wedding. Girl. We went to Vegas with 24 of our closest family and friends and had the time of our lives! Got married at the Flamingo on the Strip in the garden area, they provided the photographer and videographer. And we got an extra outside photographer to follow us around and it was REASONABLE. Less than $5,000 for almost a week and I love every picture and video from that day still. This was in Nov 2019
