  • Let's unbox, set up, and cut some stones (agates & porphyry). I am using, for the first time, a 4” or 5” lapidary trim saw from Hi-Tech Diamond and during this unboxing, setting up, and cutting rocks video, we are going to test it out and I give my honest opinion on what I think of it. Please let me know if you have any saw related questions in the comment section! Thanks for watching!

**When using any lapidarhy saw, be sure to wear eye protection, ear protection, and lung protection. Read your safety manual and understand how to use your saw. DO NOT WEAR loose gloves that could get caught between the saw and well slot. Do not force your stone through the grinding process, take it nice and easy and be patient. Happy cutting :)

Awesome saw and video! I am currently new to using a cheap FlorCraft brand 7" wet tile saw .looking at getting the hitech 10" later this month..now I want this new one too! Looks like it works great.

Great little saw!!! Maybe create a custom spray guard that you could attach to the small one? Love the small agate cutting portion. Tiny but mighty!!!!

The saw is so cute! What an awesome addition to the studio. The width of the blade is so nice too; accurate without taking too much material away from your project. That was fun to watch and very informative, thanks for sharing!

It's kind of cute! Makes sense for smaller pieces and finer/softer material! Thanks Taylor.
