Awesomeness, thank you
Hi Tom! thanks for your always informative reviews. i am on a budget and i do both stills and videos and i need an all -in one camera. been gearing lately to get the Fujifilm X-T4. any tip please!
Thanks for the review, thinking of investing in one of these. I shoot on Red Scarlet 5k, would this monitor work for this? Thanks!
HI! Mr. Antos, do you recommend this monitor for color grading?
I found when I look at the screen close up there is noticeable noise...even when exposed correctly. Is that normal in an HD Production monitor? Image is good etc..just wondering about that noise...which seems non-exposure related if that makes sense.
Damn it’s out of stock. Hopefully because of your video!
Pre-sale Starts May 6th, 2021. The upcoming promotion for this monitor is 25% off, from $1741.25 to $1306. $435.35 OFF
Can this montior be used for colour grading? Thank you.
They are out of stock 😱
How is he connecting it to the blackmagic camera? And would you be able to buy a receiver and use this cordless with the BMPCC?
I used an hdmi cable and yes you can use it with a wireless video system
How do you calibrate the monitor?
Great review. I got this monitor recently and like it a lot. But they want $80 for the tiny cheese plate that fits on the back. That is very high, considering you can get similar cheese plates for about $7 at small rig. Has anyone found a 3rd party cheese plate which will fit on the back of this monitor? Would love to avoid spending the $80.
I second this! I still haven't one yet!
Does this monitor have Lut support?
I can vouch for this monitor. It was AMAZING to look at and use in bright sunlight. But even this REEEEEALLY nice monitor couldn't make the guy at 0:37 look good. lol
Hey Tom. Would i be able to monitor 4k 60 fps on this? Cheers from canada
The monitor is only 1080p so its not possible to show 4K. But if you are outputting from your camera you can in most cameras output HD signal over HDMI or SDI even if you are recording in 4k and then yes you can monitor the converted 1080p signal in 50fps
Oh and hello Canada! Hope things are good up there?
👊👊💥💥
is this monitor 8bit or 10bit?
Hello
Tom, please turn on the closed captioning. CZcams provides it for free to content creators. Every once in a while a miss a word, because you are speaking quickly. Closed captioning would help when I can not understand a word. Thanks.
I enabled them for all my videos but it's up to youtube's AI to intrepret the videos and then post the CC. Can't do much more than that. Sometimes it takes a few days.
@@TomAntos Thank you Tom.
Make a tutorial on how to edit better
I already made a few. My previous video I show some important editing techniques. I have a lot more on my website tomantosfilms.com/?s=editing+tutorial
I prefer my Atomos Ninja V.

Nice monitor but too expensive. For that much money I would rather get an American made product with better warranty.
Good luck since there’s no such thing for that price for an “American” product.
1st
Coming from China, I'd expect maybe $150. To $200. For something like that.
China no longer makes cheap things. Most products actually made in China now are as expensive or more expensive as American made because Chinese workers now make more money than average American worker. Cheap products can still be made in countries like Mexico, India, Vietnam.
China is definitely not as cheap as it used to be.
Lol your iPhone or most Sony mirrorless are made in China, not exactly cheap...
