Elevated as a rationalist and feminist martyr, Hypatia has received a glossy shield of apologistic protection and is now a bipedal sacred cow. In the same way, everyone ignores Galileo's falseness and backstabbing and receives the interpretation of the inquiry into his science from biased sources. As well, the violence of the Alexandrian monks was not necessarily approved by the best elements in the local church. (See The Sayings of the Desert Fathers, editor Benedicta Ward.)

Vi la película en su momento en el cine y me gustó bastante. Debería revisarla. Ni siquiera recordaba que contaba con Oscar Isaac en el reparto, nadie sospechaba de el pedazo de actor en el que se convertiría en el futuro. Lo que sí tengo muy machacada es la banda sonora de Dario Marianelli, que es una joya indiscutible. Me alegra que la hayas usado, todo un acierto. Nice work Perci!

Yo la volví a visionar el otro día en la tv , hacía muchísimo tiempo que la había visto y la verdad me sorprendió gratamente.
Estaba indeciso sobre editar un montaje sobre el film , pero tiene grandes momentos que quería plasmar en un montaje!
Hahaha yo tampoco sabía que aparecía él hasta hace poco xD
Siempre te fijas mucho en la música , eso es increíble :)
La canción que sonaba en la escena final de Hypatia , no logré encontrar una más bella así que me alegro que fuera una buena idea!
