"Why doesn't restaurant food taste as good as the picture looks?"
The photographer and the restaurant are very good sales entities, that's why we go.

Just wrap some good adhesive tape on the threads on the line and slide the O ring and this way the tape will protect the O Ring from cuts from the threads while you install it.

These go on much easier and safer if they are worked down one thread at a time, feed it on following the angle of the threads.

wrap fishing line around recess - twist and pass through o ring -- then simply hold/pressure o ring to thread and pull end of line - pulling it around should pull o ring over thread - few rotations and o ring should be seated without damaging it on thread edge. Not that easy to do in confined space, but may come in handy one day.

Is there a rubber oring at the end of the line or just the teflon oring?

Hey Jamie, any tips on fixing my dashboard? Just bought a used 2008 Infiniti G35 and a good deal of the dashboard is sticky. I’ve tried soaking it in multiple applications of leather conditioner and tried wiping the stickiness but any paper or cloth towel I put to it sticks to it. Tried a sponge and a plastic card(for body filler and whatnot) to scrape it but no luck. I think the car was baking in the sun a lot and that’s what’s caused the dashboard to be this way.

JamieJones TheCarMan So you think vinyl paint would take away that tackiness that my dashboard permanently exhibits?Would it just be acting as a sealer or what?

Sam S tried goo gone. Didn’t fix it. I’ll try some vinyl paint, maybe clear if I can find that. Not gonna replace the dash unless it’s part of another project I have planned.

Yes , try small spot if it will stick to it then it will seal it and yes very common issue
