- Hey everyone, Kevin here. I figured I’d start a CZcams channel that felt a little more personable as I brought you all along on my adventures. Florida can be a tough state to camp in. I usually camp twice a week from November until March with friends. I still camp through the summer, just not as frequently as other adventures seem to take up the long summer days. I work rotating 12 hour shifts that allow me to have off 14+ days a month. Combine that with my sense of adventure and I'm able to see what the states really have to offer. So please, go ahead, subscribe and follow along for some fun outdoor adventures!

I guess that is as far as they could meke it in a school bus... Love her rig.
It was left there and made into a hunting cabin. Thanks!
I think Jillian needs some rock sliders for Christmas!
I think you are right.
@@OverlandFlorida I have the White Knuckle Offroad sliders on my GX470 and really like them.
It's getting worse every year. I did the trail two years ago in a Mercedes ML320 . It did well, no issues, but for the last rocks you need a spotter, its a great 😮trail.
It's best to go with a vehicle that has ATrac or lockers. The Mercedez 4matic with low range was enough
You’re right. It is getting rough. A few years ago I did it twice in a stock Tacoma pulling a 5x10 camper. It was no issue.
That looks like my kinda trial!
It would be really fun in the gladiator.
That's a trail I definitely want to hit up. Also good job to the gf for her driving.
Thanks. She did great!
Haha, getting flexy 😁 we are headed up by there this Thanksgiving. So good.
That looks so fun! Very nice scenery too. Thanks for sharing.
It was, hopefully it stays open for many years to come.
Hurricane Creek Trail is my favorite trail in NC! I do it twice a year in my built up Xterra. That spot with the tree is definitely the toughest obstacle and the camera really does not do it justice. I had to just brute force it last year and nearly slid into that tree while my buddy climbed it no problem with his Cherokee with super flexy suspension and reduction gears. It looks like they fixed the newer spot just a bit above that where there was a giant hole in the middle of the trail that you had to hang your tire almost half way off the cliff to get over. That was the sketchiest spot for sure last time. BTW I'm also from Florida. Good looking truck and nice video!
Side note: We saw a Subaru of some kind coming down the trail the opposite direction having just done the tree obstacle with just shredded side and rocker panels. This trail is definitely not meant for a Subaru.
It’s definitely a fun trail. I’m surprised it’s still open. Thanks for watching.
For anyone who may see this comment - Hurricane creek is a one way trail. If you didn't start the trail from I-40 you are going the wrong direction. There are very few spots wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass each other which can lead to some serious problems when people come down the trail the wrong way.
She is not scared
Nope! She’s a great driver!
Jillian has a nice 4runner i like it more than the maverick
I think that goes for everyone.
She got some dang good driving skills
She sure does!
Those four runners are very capable vehicles
They really are.
Me and my buddy just did this trail last week in 2 3rd gen Tacomas and an Astro van.
Must have been fun in an Astro van.
I need to go therreeee. Looks fun!
Do it! You will have fun. You can camp there too.
Nice video, i would like to try it. Can you give me location. Thanks
Google Hurricane Creek.
👍👍👍👍👍😀
Wow did you use the winch? That one spot was sketch.
No winch. I wanted to though, just to break it out and use it once.
It was sketch. But after getting out and looking, Jillian drove up the trail with no winch. We’ve actually never needed to use the winch yet in the 4 runner.
It had my blood pressure up just on video. I almost went over a ravine in an excursion going down a 40 degree downhill switchback in Nantahalla forest, not fun. It’s not so easy to keep a camera rolling either. Good job on both of you though, felt like an of shit moment. 😎
