The pace of this game was insane… girls playing 40 minutes at that pace…. I realize they don’t go up and down court as fast as men, but DAMN!!!
You nailed it bud. I am older than you and I never thought I would not only watch this much women’s basketball but be so entertained !! Caitlin Clark is legendary !! She never ceases to amaze me ! A lot of teams know they can’t stop catilin Clark but they are worried about her getting her teammates in the flow too. And Clark did both !! I will be interested to see what UConn comes up with as they have 3 days to prepare. Clark and Iowa has seen box and 1s, double teams, blitzing her on screens…the great thing is Iowa has so many shooters that can hit their open 3s….

Thing is Hannah was a class track athlete in HS, including hurdles. No one, much less Reese could keep up with Stuelke. JP
LSU players are bigger and heavier hence the slower transition defense
Flau’jae is most definitely their best player & shoulda been guarding CC. LSU looked tired; they didn't get back almost the entire game.

You are good with these videos. Your right on LSU's defense being anything but good watching in this video. Reese seems to not be fast or quick, then wham she stills a pass taking it to the hoop. What Reese is great at is around the bucket. She can take on three making it most of the time. She was good at blocking and throwing her body into the action having great results. I could not believe what I read, not seeing the game, that Van Lith 5'-9" put to guard 6'-0'' Clark. That should not have happened at all. I feel it was part of the reason they lost. I could not believe Mulkey did that the second half. LSU's Johnson played well around the basket. Clark hit 9 of 20 and something like 21-36 shots. Clark had about half of everything the rest of Iowa's player had. I was coaching would be guarding Clark more than rest of Iowa's team, stating Clark will not beat us. I am happy the championship on Sunday 4/7/24 will be on ABC. Thanks for having this shown, doing great on these.
in the beginning 3-4 minutes I think you might have mistaken Poa for Van Lith a couple times, they played the exact same on defense this game though so an easy mistake to make. No-one but Johnson could guard her but they kept throwing everyone but her at Caitlin
