  • 2. Video Requirements for Online Competitions
    1) Athletes in the competition video must face the camera and perform a bow with fists when starting their routine.
    2) Filming of the competition video can only use one camera, positioned at adult eye level for a frontal close-up shot. The camera can move left and right during the performance, and the focus may be adjusted as needed to ensure the athlete is not too small or out of frame. The entire demonstration should be recorded in one take without editing or switching shots. Multiple recordings are allowed, and the best one should be submitted.
    3) The competition video must be a live recording and cannot have post-production edits or added audio or visual effects.
    4) Filming Location
    a. The choice of filming location does not affect the scoring and is entirely at the discretion of the participating athlete. Both indoor and outdoor locations are acceptable, if they are safe, suitable for a continuous demonstration of the routine, and filming.
    b. The lighting and brightness of the video should be sufficient for judges to assess.
    c. The video background must not feature commercial advertisements, religious or political propaganda. Martial arts school logos and national or regional flags are allowed, but virtual backgrounds are not permitted.
    d. The competition video must strictly adhere to the video requirements and should be filmed within 2 months of the registration deadline.
    e. When submitting the competition video, please include the athlete's name and competition event code information in the video file name for easy organization and reference.
    5) If the video requirements are not met during the competition, the judging team reserves the right not to score, and the registration fee will be non-refundable.
    3. Uniform and Weapon Requirements
    All athletes must wear performance uniforms and use competition equipment in accordance with the 2019 International Wushu Federation (IWUF) competition rules. However, there are no specific restrictions on the length and weight of the competition equipment.
    4. Online Competition Award
    1) Gold, silver, and bronze awards are designated for each individual event, age group, and gender. Specifically, the top 20% will receive gold medals, the next 30% will receive silver medals, the following 30% will receive bronze medals, the remaining participants receive encouragement awards (participation certificates). The award proportions are determined based on the actual number of participants and are rounded accordingly.
    2) The award certificates can be downloaded in the Competition registration account, and the medals for online competitions can be collected at the location of the organizing committee's office. Alternatively, you can arrange for postal service through the Competition sponsor, Kungfudirect.com, with postage and customs fees being the responsibility of the recipient.     5. Tie in scores
    When athletes have equal scores, their results are considered tied, and it does not affect the ranking of subsequent athletes.
    6. The list of athletes receiving gold, silver, and bronze medals will be announced uniformly by the organizing committee on the official website of the event.
