Obviously, since Missy had already explained in the episode how the Doctor could convert destructive energy (directed at destroying him) into an energy he could use, she simply did the same thing. She figured out on the fly how to channel the Dalek blasts into the screwdriver, to get it to operate as a modified vortex manipulator, and just hopped to a different space and time.

@@zachclawges6932 Not really, she would remember having/using it earlier. She only remembered having it, when she slapped it into Simm's head, which was kinda cheaty way of getting something useful, she could convince him to remind himself of anything that she, or he would need at the time and she would instantly have it in her pocket, because timey wimey ... stuff. "Oh, Missy, I'm hungry right now, I could really use something to eat"
"Oh how lucky, you have me, I happen to have a snack here on me, it's yours". Because they are the same person from two different times, they could basically do anything.
I get, what Moffat was going for, but it still was cheap. In fact it shouldn't work. One simple reason. Their timelines were messing around and neither of them should remember these events (just like Day of the Doctor), maybe Missy could, but AFTER these, not before. But Simm shouldn't at all. So if she convinced him to remind himself to always carry a spare dematerialization circuit on him, he should immediately forget, after escaping the colonial ship, which cancels her "inventory" then. If Simm did forget, then she shouldn't remember reminding herself of carrying it all the time as well. She should remember those events after she escaped the ship, not before they arrived there. Simple as that. The materialization of the dematerialization circuit is a plot hole.

My top notch theory on how Missy escaped Skaro:
Missy seduced the Daleks. "But how?" I hear you ask. Well well well. You see, one of the Daleks in the corridor was genetically linked to the Dalek from S1 E6 "Dalek" where the Dalek in Dalek mutated and started feeling emotions and whatnot. Seeing as the Daleks all share a big ol' Dalek database, the genetic material of the Dalek from "Dalek" embedded itself into one of the Daleks from The Witches Familiar. Anyhow, Missy seduces the Dalek and they ride off into the sunset, escaping Skaro. Unfortunately their romance is short lived due to the fact that the Dalek has a severe drinking problem and he doesn't want to admit it. They argue, shit gets messy and Missy kills him :(
This is all canon, thank you Stephen Moffat :)

14:15 -- I have two theories for that:
    (1) Since the new canon is that the Doctor has been around millions of years, it's quite possible that the higher up Time Lords at the time may not even be aware of the Doctor's true origins and assumed that he really was out of regenerations.
    (2) If the Time Lord powers that be at the time were aware of the Doctor's true origins, they may have given him the regeneration energy equivalent of a placebo to keep up appearances that he was just a normal Time Lord.

I think the Timeless Child concept would have worked best if it wasn't the Doctor. Their are other characters out there that this would fit better with. Rassilon could fit the profile as he is one of the oldest Timelords in the show and is already implied to have infinite regenerations. The Master could also work as it would at least help explain his numerous resurrections better. Susan could have been the Timeless Child while the Doctor could have been the scientist that found her. It was a neat concept but the Doctor's well-established history and and (mostly) solid background makes him one of the worst choices for being the Timeless Child.

The man then slaps her for poking his eye, causing her to stumble into the supreme Dalek, knocking him off his stupid platform. She then grabs the Dalek from within the broken casing, and using it as a grappling hook, she swings across the building, finding the teleport control room. Thus she uses it to create an emergency temporal shift, and she gets teleported to an unknown location!

We have an opportunity to explore this, there is a lot of potential here esspecially with the division. We don't get to see gallafrey that frequently so it would be nice to have an episode that is based around exploring timelord history in more detail, so prehaps we could get a dark and gritty story around the division, maybe see why the doctor left gallafrey or at least see Tek Teyun, Rassalon, and Omega have a nice reuninon. This would also benifit yonger fans who may not have seen the classic series so won't have benifited from the gallafrey based stories back then.

I'd be shocked if this hasn't been pointed out elsewhere but here goes: The Timeless Child both invalidates the fulfillment of the hybrid prophecy and fulfills it. The Doctor and Clara connot now be "The Hybrid" because a hybrid which is half Time Lord half warrior race must stand iin the ruins of Gallifrey. The Doctor is now not of the Time Lord Race, but an unknown predecessor race. However, the Master takes the Cyberium into himslef, thus becoming a hybrid of the Time Lords and Cybermen. Be then literally stands in the ruins of Gallifrey. Not only that, he has an army of Cyber Masters (Cyber Lords would have been a much cooler name) who are literally Cybemen with Time Lord biological units in them. The next series needs to point this fulfillment of the prophecy out if this version of the Whovian universe is to continue.

Well you see. Missy survived because when the guy possessed the tardis in “the doctors wife” it saw the future and saw this missy character in a new timeline where she became the master that destroyed gallifrey. This possessed tardis used a timeline distortion system to mix the timelines to make it so that missy survived and then split the timelines back together. And missy regenerated by a tiny bit of the ultra regeneration that the 11th doctor had hitting them during the mix of timelines giving them just enough power to get their regeneration set back.

The Valyard was the pre-Hartnell/Ruth Doctor. The Mind of Morbid regenerations were working for Division. It amazes me, having watched a number of reactions/reviews, that foreshadowing is overlooked, along with the expectations of all answers being given in one episode. One of the best things Chibnall has done is to completely free the show from the "13" rule. I'm assuming, if not for Mary Whitehouse, the Hinchcliffe era would've resolved Tom Baker being revealed as the 12th Doctor vs the 13 rule, but it wasn't. Of all the subplots which COULD'VE been ignored, that wasn't. Now it doesn't matter.

I know this is late and more info has been provided in The Timeless Child story that supports this but I always thought the reason the time lords had to give The Doctor more regenerations was bc they had used the chameleon arch to turn them Gallifreyan. Given that now we know The Doctor’s memories were stored in the same type of watch used in previous chameleon arch stories, its makes perfect sense. Furthermore, The Doctor does NOT have infinite lives at this point as they have not opened the watch and regained their true species. Too many people ignore this and IMO its been shown clearly in the show

Theory: Rassilon will return in the last episode of Chibnall's run (played by Jeremy Irons just picked that name out of the blue) and it features the Doctor, pick >whatever villain the doctor has faced before< (maybe a rouge dalek) and the master on Gallifrey still looking like it was in Skyfall part 2. During the episode, the doctor is injured in battle and she knows she is about to regenerate into the new version (which for the love of god announce it on April 1st for the lulz) and Rassilon has seen this basically tells her that she is the timeless child, in some regards however she can use her regeneration energy to write the wrongs of the timelords yada yada yada and recreate Gallifrey from the ground up, but at a cost. That would be the times the doctor lived before she became what fans of the show would consider being the first doctor (William Hartnell). A big explosion of light, Enemy has gone, Master goes missing, the Doctor regenerates into a new doctor, standing in the middle of the Cruisble of Gallifrey with everything wrong of Chibnals run undone and fresh canvas for the new showrunner.
Or that's what I would do for the show.

14:12 Not the "endless regenerations" chestnut again. It was clearly stated that Tecteun imposed a limit of 12 regenerations on the Time Lords, and there's nothing to say that the Timeless Child/Doctor was exempted from this. Because it was the Timeless Child's own genes which gave the Time Lords the ability to regenerate, presumably Tecteun's 12-regen limit worked on the very same genes. Besides, we weren't told that the Timeless Child had infinite regenerations to begin with; the abillity could have fizzled out eventually, for all we know.

A few good ideas 1. The Daleks try and crack the Skasis paradigm 2. An episode about jack and novice hame 3 . Underwater Autons as there’s plastic in the ocean 4. The daleks seen as squids underwater out of there shell

Yeah Ryan's dyspraxia could've been better represented but you forgot to mention when Ryan threw that bomb at Cybermen and controlling the plane in Spyfall so some growth

Imagine: At the end of thirteen's tenure, it is revealed that she never was the doctor. The next doctor is the real thirteenth doctor. They used chameleon arch/metacrisis/something to make their companion Jodie to believe that she was the doctor.

Jodie is actually the metacrisis doctor

I like these type of ideas. If I were to be made show runner, I'd reveal that Jodie's in an alternate universe, and the original universe of the show still exists, too. So everyone is happy, as no retconning of Jodie's Doctor occurs, but we can go back to the more normal Doctor Who with no Timeless Child.

Missy ripped off her mask revealing herself to be a younger version of the John Simm Master all along, causing a causality feedback loop that forced Simm to regenerate into Gomez.

Ryan's dyspraxia was also mentioned in the kablam man when jumping from conveyer - conveyer as well as being present at the end of his last episode revolution of the daleks when again he is trying to ride his bike

Missy remembered to bring along a vital piece of the TARDIS, so she could also have remembered to bring along some kind of protection against the energy beam that would kill her.
After all, killing her happened in her past.

Old-timey Who had some minor loose ends where giant invasion fleets were mentioned but never referred to again. Dominators, Kraals, and Sontarans from The Sontaran Experiment come to mind. It’s assumed that they just moved on, but the Doctor never stuck around long enough to make sure.

She either went "screw it I'm not dieing. I'm too popular." Or the current master is actually the next one after John Sim.

Missy knew her past self’s prideful tendency to overlook the obvious/mundane. She took the blast like a champ, but diverted her regeneration energy into him, ensuring her own creation. She then went on to play rounds of solitaire and minesweeper on a Windows 95 PC until she got bored.

A way they could have made the timeless child interesting would be to make it the master but have the doctor as the first test subject thus giving him/ her more regenerations as the science wasn’t refined to 14 yet.

Or that the doctor was the one to find and experiment on the timeless child and they WIPED their own mind as well as theirs.
      Being a total shock

I was using Lockdown to finally watch the Marvel movies. Avoiding spoilers was tough, until here...
Serves me right for being behind the times.
