- I have spent so many hours on this franchise universe that I have come to love the hell out of it! It's such a tease that I played the entirety of FF7 before laying my hands on Rebirth. I am very much looking forward to what comes next of this remake series because it's a series that has been loved by many. So now I shall share my love for it as well~

Nice view on FF7. I played most of the original just before Remake. I finished it about a year ago and am about to play Rebirth soon. It's crazy how big an impact FF7 had. Wish I played it back when it came out, it would have blown my mind.

Being 42 and having played ff7 as my first story game (before that it was sports and arcade style ones), I love the og. After it I replayed all ff games and ended at 10 - 2. Then I stoped playing games for some time. Played later 14 to endwalker first patch.
With this experience gotta say. I dislike modern games AND ff7 remakes.
Back in the day you had a feeling that a game is either a kids toy or a piece of art. You had 50/50 what you will get. But when you got an art piece like ff7 you felt great. The tone - prerendered graphics mixed with that music. It was magic. When the dystopia meets a depressing story in a depressing setting magic happened. My gameplay style was using morph on all enemies and griding all zones. Nowadays every piece of art wants to be a marvel movie for the most amount of people. Like wtf. The other big game of that time was Suikoden 2. Damn it was japanese but the motives where so universal. With no true villain, only place and time putting ppl in their roles...
As far as Aerith goes... I copied her flirting style. Because I like it and partly because we have the same birthday. If you played og you know she is very different in other games. And og mature Aerith is my favorite character.
Actually it has already been confirmed that the Remake Project is going to be a trilogy. So Remake, Rebirth, and then...whatever the hell the title of the final game is. 😂
Ooh! So excited to see the ending remade! It’s been such a fun journey~ I’m currently playing rebirth and having so much fun :)
