T e keyboardist (think) that just made a run in warming up and Whitney liked it so she started singing it knowing It was a Chaka khan if I'm not mistaken Whitney sang backup in one or more of Chaka khans releases Or could have been 'every woman' but Nippy's ear heard what she heard and just starting to enjoy the moment. that's why the backup singers are surprised Lol, they knew the song but did not expect this! Its obvious this was never rehearsed I love this I'm sure this entire rehearsal is available somewhere.
