I was 15yrs old and dropped off at Lakeland Civic Center to see my favorite performer, Ms Kahn. It was 8AM and her debut was around Midnight. I waited 16hrs for the best performance ever. However at around 2PM in the afternoon Ms Kahn with a few very tall well dressed men appeared on stage to check the instruments and sound, Ms Kahn sat at the drum set and played closing her eyes but occasionally glanced down at me. I was the only person in the audience standing center stage about five feet below the stage level. Finally, at midnight I was rewarded standing in the same exact position in a packed full auditorium. Ms Kahn opened with “Sweet Thing” and walked slowly across the front edge of the stage from stage left singing. When Ms. Kahn got to where I was standing. she stopped and pointed at me and no one else. Fifty years later I still remember it like it happened yesterday. Ms Kahn is the most glamorous sexy woman living on Earth and the best voice ever past, present and future. I am so lucky… I love Ms Kahn still… Thank you Ma’am for the memories and dreams…

This rendition of Sweet thing is way better than her original, back in 1975 or so..I was 9yrs.old at that time, and i remember it being the song use to like listening to.The additional keyboard, is what really gives this rendition a notch above it's original, also the background vocalists are in sync ( melody )with Chaka.I know Chaka was feeling this group of vocalists and band members.
