    I’m looking for instructions

You can go to your nearby HomeDepot store to rent the machine. You can rent it for 4 hours to a day and even for weeks. The machine is really easy to use and clean. Just follow the instructions given by HomeDepot at the time of renting it. Following is the link for details:
      www.homedepot.com/p/rental/Rug-Doctor-Carpet-Cleaner-95371/?categoryCd=09&subCategoryCd=901&rentalProductName=Carpet-Cleaner&modelNbr=95371
I hope this answers your query! :)

The store employees know nothing. Printed instructions on machine are pictographs. I read ENGLISH, not hieroglyphs. I'm sure it's a good machine but without clearly printed instructions in English it takes a bit of time to figure it out.

Next time, I suggest that you spray a proper carpet shampoo onto the carpet with a pump up
sprayer. Let it sit for ten minutes and then use the machine to rinse it with hot water only.
When you wash with soapy water but do not rinse, it leaves soap in the carpet. The soap dries sticky, attracting and holding dirt. Just like shampooing your hair but not rinsing.
Also, try lowering that handle to a comfortable working position!

Good idea, or you could do two passes. One with shampoo + hot water and the second with just hot water.

They recomend not to use foaming products with carpet cleaners!!! Because that’s what happensss and ur carpet gets sticky afterwards

Never put soap in your carpet extractor, always use a sprayer to first treat the carpet. Then use the machine with just water or a rinsing agent.

Nice video ! 3 questions dude how good is it at removing stains
Also I see that you can put furniture back before it dries
How long does the drying take

Using this thing right now. Works decently but freaking time consuming. My room is 18x20 and it took an hour and some change to get it clean.

You can pull it up the stairs one step at a time.

  • @Searchng
    @Searchng Před 3 lety +2

Yeah dude you probably played a lot of hungry hungry hippos growing up cause that’s not how you’re supposed to do it. Pull to saturate with warm/hot water and possibly a bit of no or low foam soap. Push to extract then maybe do another pass
But you’re kind of like brushing the carpet down and wetting it, not really cleaning it very well

Yes it's heavy. Try to move it closer to your working location and fill it there, as water is heavy and weighs 8 pounds per gallon.
P.S. I believe it holds up to four gallons including the soap.
