North Yorkshire Moors Railway Movements (24/10/23)

Shortly after capturing some historic diesel action on the East Lancs Railway the month before, the historic train theme continued with a trip to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
The primary catch for the day was the Sir Nigel Gresley - a rare A4 Pacific locomotive which looked resplendent even in the rainy North Yorkshire weather. Alongside the Gresley there were a few other locos running along the line that I managed to capture.
The early footage in this video is captured at Pickering station, however the majority is captured at Grosmont Station. At Grosmont, we were also able to explore some of the work being undertaken within the restoration sheds. It was great to see so many old locos being brought up to scratch to hopefully run again.
