Beautiful, beautiful. O so love the Bach slow works, with the steady pulsing and long, long melodic arcs, switching by octaves, rising stepwise through majestic harmonic rhythms. The definition of deliberative lyrical gravity.

Often play it on the organ during weddings for the registry signing. 8' Cavaillé-Coll type flûte harmonique best.

Eb major has a special significance as a devotional key but of course you may play it in any key, why not? might be interesting to hear the difference in sound
