I think spiff adds an important aspect to the fnaf community. I think it’s easy to forget the key aspects of the games because we get so caught up in the lore of it all. It’s cool to see how much spiff knows his way around the games and how much the “lore lords” don’t know.
that only goes to show how little we as a whole understand Fnaf. Cause like... it's pretty convoluted.
Seems mostly like a psychological memory thing. Like, I can go down a set of stairs everyday but I didn’t take the time out of my day to count the steps so if anyone asked me “How many steps are in your staircase” I wouldn’t know.
Simple things are overlooked because they’re not focused on and aren’t solidified in memory.
I wouldn’t call ryan and tetrabit “lore lords” ryan is just a dude who does a little bit of lore hunting and just mainly does gameplay videos, while tetrabit mainly does digging into the files and looking for uncut content, which he has contributed to the lore building, but it’s not like he was actively looking for specifically lore.

I watched this video and saw this comment right before watching MatPat’s video, and like 23 mins into MatPat’s he says this almost exactly, just wanted to come back to say this comment aged fantastically
yeah he even topped John's score, although I think Ash's score was probably off. Some of his answers were marked right when they were wrong, but also there's a couple half points that could've saved the score. He definitely got a really impressive score, I think we also have to credit his test taking abilities

This was so much fun! I got an 81%, not by playing any of the games, but watching many playthroughs over and over again from GTLive, Dawko, 8BitRyan, Markiplier, and of course, you AstralSpiff. Many times a particular quote from a video came to mind to help me answer a question.
Watching everyone get the question about blacklisted ending wrong was very funny to me, it's very clear that literally nobody knew how it worked for a long time before you set the record straight lmao

I think it's so surprising how many I got right as someone who's not played any of the games, simply from watching many of Spiff's videos and weird trivia I remember. They were so certain they could succeed and knew so much that they overthought things.

Dude, that was legitimately really good. I didn't keep track of my score but it was fun trying to figure out the answers myself whilst also hearing, and occasionally laughing at, Dawko, John, Tetrabit and Ryan, also puzzling their way to the end. Would love to see another one of these.

For anyone curious, El Chip actually plays a mandolin. You can tell from the shape and the flat back. Mandolins usually have 8 strings, but there is a hybrid of a guitar and mandolin which has 6 strings. Since his instrument is clearly a mandolin, but it has 6 strings, El Chip most likely plays one of these mandolin-guitars.

For question #46, I played SB on PS4 like a couple weeks after release, and believe it or not Vanny did consistently spawn in for me at the princess quest ending scenes.
I played the game as “intended” using hiding spots and cameras frequently to be sneaky. Vanny spawned in SUPER far back, and I only noticed her because I was checking out the server room with Roxy. She got there after like 2 minutes of me just hoping around hiding spots in that initial server room, and then would always get stuck in the doorway preventing her from actually coming into the room unless you agro her.
I could totally see most people never seeing her because of how far back (or long it takes her) she spawns and the fact she gets stuck on before the first room

I think it was a pretty good quiz, it covered a lot of different areas. I just think a little bit more of the "older" games would have been nice, but ofc SB and Ruin are the most recent ones. I would def want to see a second quiz made by you. Also Im pretty surprised how good I did if you consider I never played any fnaf game and only watched a lot of ytb about it XD
It honestly feels like Ryan got done dirty, like he plays the games and fan games occasionally and then he's going against Dawko, Fuhnaff, and Tetrabit, three youtubers which mostly do fnaf content. It's like putting an average guy in a contest about indie-games against Markiplier and then two more Markipliers.

One reason I think fuhnaff won was because as a theorist he has to look back at the old games a lot while Dawko probably doesn’t replay them when he isn’t doing a charity event. But idk
yeah, but he also got some indirect help from Spiff too in many questions. He does know a lot but that also shows how over-analyzing and overthinking can lead to the wrong conclusions when is sometimes is not necessary to over-complicate things.

The correct answer to "How many fingers does Freddy have?" is 8. There's no trick. That's just the correct answer. "How many fingers does Freddy have on each hand?" is a completely different question.
Yeah even if Spiff intended it to be "on each hand", that wasn't the question at the time so I feel like Ryan should've gotten those two points in either case.

This was great fun to watch, and to guess along with the lads as well. Kept a tally of my score throughout (cause it's Saturday night and I've nothing better to do) and ended with 82 points. I can thank Markiplier and you, Spiff, for essentially all of my game knowledge, as I've never played any of them myself. Though I will say I crushed the Mr Hippo questions, cause I do listen to his monologue semi-regularly in my free time

Oh wow. I honestly thought Dawko would sweep this whole thing easily. Good on Fuhnaff though, proud of him for coming this far this fast, even if he DID overthink a lot of questions. Although I will say that one with the baby biting made me think of Sister Location more because it is very dark in the bunker underground with all of them, and Circus Baby did open her stomach like a mouth to claw bite a girl, and every protagonist technically goes home after their shifts to sleep and live their lives. So yeah, that one felt like SL to me, specifically because you used a picture of a baby biting. If it had been anything else, a dog, an adult guy, a hamster, anything, then I would have assumed it was Fnaf 4. But having a character named Baby and having a picture of a baby feels very specific.
Edit: Other than that, this was an awesome quiz! I hope someone else makes one later that can stump YOU Spiff!

I think the best part about the "Which Animatronic's Hands" question tripping Fuhnaff up so much about which animatronics have a banjo....is that I'm pretty sure that's not a banjo. It's probably either a mandolin or a requinto guitar, both more common in the mariachi style that El Chip is representing, but either way it's clearly a wood covering to the instrument, and not the thin resonator that makes a banjo a banjo.
So nice to see spiff interacting with small you tubers and giving them recognition😊

The Lolbit vendor question made sense for how fast they got it, since every other option either debuted in a game before FNaF World (and were thus playable, so they couldn’t really be a shop vendor), or debuted after FNaF World (Ennard)

As an older fan who never touched FNAF World or the weird spinoff ones, I am quite proud of myself with my 85 points. Y'all should do something like this again sometime!
This was a really fun video, but if I can provide a bit of constructive criticism for when you do this again (which I hope you do), I think the audience should learn the answer to the question at the same time as the people playing, whether question or question or at the end. In my opinion, one of the best parts of videos like these is seeing the reactions of the players when they find out if they got each question right or wrong along with the viewer, which this video doesn't really have. I know you had to do it this way because they could scroll up and change their answers, but I do think it would be something to consider for the future (maybe you could do it like how cjya did his quizzes?).

17:25 i had a feeling that the question was wrong the fact it said night 6 and had nightmare (final boss) in it, so i checked on a fan made wiki, and it said that nightmare coming at 4am is on night 7, not night 6.
