I just followed your video and serviced mine. Due to elections wahala and lack of cash wahala in NIGERIA, I had no choice but to do it myself without the usual mechanic I call. I learnt a lot about how the gen really works. I cleaned all parts and the happiest was when a generator that wouldn’t start and hasn’t worked for 8 months started the moment I pulled it once. This is more than the normal service ... it is what I call a full decoke where you have removed the carbon buildup. Most people won’t go this far but will only clean the carburettor. Well done!
Hello from Australia. Nice job. The same machines here with two diffent names are GMC and Blackridge. Where did you buy the piston and rings kit from? I can't find any on ebay etc. Can you put the shop link in the video description please.
You can check by putting screw driver into the plug cap, take it close to the body of the engine. then you drag the generator. If there is spark that means the ignition system is good. If it doesn't spark the ignition system is bad.
Please I follow the instructions and I service the generator... But he didn't work and besides the generator was working before I service it.. But when i start the generator, I noticed it was free but until now it did not work... I need help bro...
Hope you didn’t break the rings in the process of inserting the engine block. Secondly Check the cylinder packing and block packing if there is no leakage.
Firstly, Piston can change When engine oil is not well mix in the generator where by it affect the piston. Secondly it can be change when rings is gum and stick to the piston.

If the fuel is finishing, the voltage becomes so high thereby damaging some gadgets for me and then go off within 1 minute. What's the cause pls? I need ur answers
Firstly check whether the spark plugs is good. Secondly if the Piston and rings is bad, it cause hard starting. Lastly the ignition coil also cause hard start when it fail to supply current to the plug.

Firstly the more the load the more it consume fuel. Check the home appliance you put on.. secondly the carburetor needs to be service or replace.
Nice video man. My thermocol generator consumes alot of oil. I have to change or add more about 3 times a week, what could be the cause?

What kind of oil. Black oil or clean oil.
