      @@javiadkhaliq7549 Muslim argument ( basically Zakir Naik's argument) :
In ancient times, people thought that the earth on which we live is flat. In 1577AD, Sir Francis Drake (An English naval officer and explorer) proved as tge first man that the earth is round. Quran told us this 1400 years ago.
Here are three Surahs(Quranic chapters) -
Al Quran Surah Luqmaan Surah 31 Ayah 29 :
Here it says that Allah slowly and gradually merges the day into night and the night into day. It is only possible if the earth is spherical. Because in a flat earth, this change would be sudden. Thus here the Quran indicates a spherical earth.
Al Quran Surah Al Zumar Surah 39 Ayah 5 :
Here it says the same thing again
      Quran Surah Al Naazi'aat Surah 79 Ayah 30 :
      وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ
      ❝ wa-l-ʾarḍa baʿda dhālika daḥāhā ❞
"As for the earth, He spread it out as well"
      - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
"And after that He spread the earth"
      - Saheeh International
Here the it says Allah spread the earth. Here the word دَحَىٰهَآ (daḥāhā) has two meaning one 'spread' and other is 'egg' mainly ostrich egg. It comes from the arabic word 'duhiya' which means 'ostrich egg'. We know that the earth is not s perfect sphere like a ball. It is squeezed like an ostrich egg. Thus Quran not only says that the earth is round, but also accurately says it's shape.
It is a miracle. Islam is miracle. Islam is true.
      Wo hoo!
      Counter Argument :
      First two Quranic verses (31:29 & 39:5) :
This is a real funny argument. The day gradually turns into night and vice versa. This can be observed with naked eyes. There is not a single moment before which it is day and after which it is night.
      The day cycle is :
Early morning → morning → noon → after noon → evening → night → mid night.
      And it repeats.
Because the Earth is round, this happens. That's why we can find a gradual transition from day to night and night to day. It is true.
But this is clearly observable. Not some discovery. It is a childish argument. It is not at all expected from such a renowned person like Zakir Naik. 😂😂😂
The last Quranic verse (79:30) :
      1. The word in the 30th verse of 79th chapter of Quran, 'daḥāhā' does not come from the word 'duhiya'. Here 'daha' means 'to spread' and 'ha' means 'it'. So 'dahaha' means, 'he spread it (The Earth)'.
      2. The word 'duhiya' doesn’t mean 'ostrich egg'. It means the place where an ostrich lays down her egg. Which of course is a flat place
      3. The shape of the Earth does not resemble the shape of an ostrich egg at all. It makes absolutely no sense. The Earth is spherical shaped (almost spherical as it's polar circumference is just 67km less than it's equatorial circumference. Which is negligible in comparison with it's circumference. So we can call it a ball ) whereas an ostrich egg is ovule shaped. The Earth can be better compared to an orange. If you say that the earth is orange shaped as it is a little squeezed from North to South. It is acceptable to a great extend. But comparing the Earth's shape to that of an ostrich egg, is a disastrously absurd argument.
      4. Overall there is one single point that destroys Quran's divinity is that Sir Francis Drake in 1577, Colombus in1492 or Sir Francis Drake in 1543 none of them (as many people think) proved that our planet is round. The earth was known to be round since Aristotle. The great Greek philosopher and mathematician Aristotle proved that Earth is round or spherical almost 2300 years ago through his famous book 'On The Heaven'. Since then, almost all educated individuals and the elite rulers even ordinary merchants knew that our earth on which we live is a sphere. So if Quran claims the earth to be spherical, it wouldn’t make it miraculous (it basically indicates a flat earth)
So Muslim argument here is smashed down to the ground. It is clear that Allah the writer of Quran (according to Islamic teachings) was an ignorant of 7th century Arabia. He wrote Quran with utmost ignorance and eve lacking basic scientific knowledge of his time.

    @Dev-ih1wg Před 3 lety +99

2:22 indians believed too that Earth is spherical. Putting down some verses from Indian Scriptures
    Aitareya Brahmana of RigVeda 3.44
“The Sun does never set nor rise. When people think the Sun is setting (it is not so). For after having arrived at the end of the day it makes itself produce two opposite effects, making night to what is below and day to what is on the other side…Having reached the end of the night, it makes itself produce two opposite effects, making day to what is below and night to what is on the other side. In fact, the Sun never sets"
    Bhāgavatam 5.21.9
People living in countries at points diametrically opposite to where the sun is first seen rising will see the sun setting, and if a straight line were drawn from a point where the sun is at midday, the people in countries at the opposite end of the line would be experiencing midnight. Similarly, if people residing where the sun is setting were to go to countries diametrically opposite, they would not see the sun in the same condition.
In Ramayana Chapter 30 Description of Universe
Rama said, “Tell me sage, why do we refer to up and down, forward and backward, if there is no such thing in space and nature?”
    10 Vasishta said:-
There is only one space enveloping all things. The worlds seen in the infinite and indiscernible womb of emptiness are like worms moving on the surface of water.
11 All these bodies that move about in
the world by their lack of freedom are thought to be up and down relative to our position on earth.
12 So when there are ants on an earthen ball, all its sides are reckoned below that are under their feet, and those as above which are over their backs.
13 Such is this ball of earth in one of these worlds, covered by vegetables and animals moving on it, and by gods, demons and men walking upon it.
Not only westerns but indians believed in spherical Earth too.

Now no Hindu (not even literalist Arya Samajis) will take this, or any particular sentence in the Rigveda, as a literal and scientific statement about Indra being the ultimate creator: then Indra's position in Hinduism should be that of Allah in Islam. Do we assume then that the Quran adopted this idea from the much older Rigveda? To Hindus, the Rigvedic hymns are poetic rhapsodies and hymns, not revelations, except to the Arya Samaj which imitated the Abrahamic religions in many ways. So, will 123# accept the Quran as being the same?
Ancient Hindu books of science were distinct from Hindu religious books praising Gods, many of them referred to the spherical, heliocentric earth in a vast universe, and yet none of them claimed to be books of revelation which did not require correction and further development.

“”Oh Architect Of Universe (Allah) What is the proof and evidence of your claim ?””
      He replied”

      4) But, any more strong proof ?
      He, The Great Architect replied”
Did you not know the newly separated earth was hot, boiling lava and Volcanoes?
We cooled it by sending water, to make it cool Narrow Zone of Life, and this water we initiated life 41:39
      5) Again we asked, from where and how you sent water
      He, The Great Architect replied.
We sent water by freezed Meteorite bombardments 78:14 / 14:32
      We humans replied

yes we understand then there was
      We curious humans again asked
can you Explain us our Creation, how You created us ?
      The Great God/Pramatama/Allah replied:
We created you from material of earth
      The decaying and sticking soil 15:26 / 38:71 / 55:14
      Then from your parents repeated your production 4:1 / 6:98 / 7:189 / 39:6

The God replied “”To award you on your performance in My absence”” 67:2
      To Test you who is better in my Obedience in My absence 5:94 / 5:84 / 6:165 / 11:7 / 16:92.
We created man in most beautiful and intelligent 95:4
      Then took responsibility to protect and feed him 80:24 / 16:11 / 17:31 / 6:151.
After so much of care We don’t tolerate your mischief 5:76 / 2:27 / 3:101
Hope you understood by now, We are the Creator and Owner of entire Universe ?
And this Universe is our “”Private Property”” and trespassing any ones property is Crime. 20:14 / 40:62 / 39:6
If you live in it and use its air ground water of my Property, you got to abide by My rules and be My Obedient.
or else you will be Prosecuted for Trespassing. 88:25 / 87:29

As do the 750 year old sun and moon dials built into the sides of stone temples in Konark India, that are still accurate to this day, because they knew it was the sun, moon and stars that rotated over the motionless flat Earth.

Fahad Mustafa In Arabic, each word must be derived from its root. The root usually consists of three letters that can be manipulated, by adding vowels, prefixes and suffixes in order to produce different words with different meanings. For example, "ka-ta-ba" (to write) is the root for many words such as kitab (book), maktaba (library), katib (author), maktoob (written), kitabat (writings) et cetera.
Let's now take the word claimed to mean egg of an ostrich, "Duhiya". This word is not a root. It is a noun and is derived from "da-ha-wa" (دحو)[18], the same root that the verb "dahaha" (دَحَىٰهَآ) in 79:30 comes from (the 'ha' at the end there is just a pronoun suffix meaning 'it'). Furthermore, Duhiya does not even mean the egg of an ostrich. This is what the most respected dictionaries have to say on this subject:
      Lisan Al Arab
Translation: Al-udhy, Al-idhy, Al-udhiyya, Al-idhiyya, Al-udhuwwa:The place in sand where an ostrich lays its egg. That's because the ostrich spreads out (تَدْحُوه, tadhooh) the earth with its feet then lays its eggs there, an ostrich doesn't have a nest.
Translation: To daha the earth: means to spread it out. Then it mentions a couple of Arabic poems that confirm this meaning. Anyone who can read Arabic will find this to be the definitive proof that Daha means to spread out.
      Al Qamoos Al Muheet
      (دَحَا): الله الأرضَ (يَدْحُوهَا وَيَدْحَاهَا دَحْواً) بَسَطَها
Translation: Allah daha the Earth: He spread it out.
      Al Waseet
      دَحَا الشيءَ: بسطه ووسعه. يقال: دحا اللهُ الأَرض
Translation: To daha something: means to spread it out. For example: Allah daha the Earth.

@@NeoSlyde You have copy-pasted like a fool without even reading what you pasted and fell in your own trap. Under the title "Lisan Al Arab" it says the place where the ostrich lays egg "Udhiyah", but you forgot to ask your self why it was called Udhiyah? The answer is because in Arabic the name of the place/spot/location and the name of an object is derived from the thing which uses it or is made of it or according to its resemblance to another object (keep all these information in your mind). For example the word Egg in Arabic is called Baidh, while the thing which produces the egg is called Mubyadh. So why did Quran in verse 79:30 used the word Dahaha to describe the shape of the planet Earth? FYI the word "Dahaha" means To make it look like an ostrich egg. So why Quran specifically used the word "Dahaha"? Try harder to think and come up with something reasonable to prove Quran is wrong instead of braying like an athiest donkey.

Excuse me asshole ( apostate prophet ). Did you learnt from koran az-zumar about spherical earth not flat ?
"He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He wraps the night up in the day, and wraps the day up in the night." (Surah az-Zumar 5)
The Arabic word which is translated as "to wrap" in the verse is "kawwara". This word comes from the same root as the word "kura" (sphere), which also exists in the Turkish language. In Arabic, this verb is commonly used in order to express the action of "wrapping turban around the head" as well as "wrapping an object around a n aspheric thing."
Btw asshole ( apostate prophet ), according to wikipedia, many muslim scientist and philosopher belief earth was sphere according to koran verses az zumar.
Ibn Hazm. Andalusian polymath Ibn Hazm stated that the proof of the Earth's sphericity "is that the Sun is always vertical to a particular spot on Earth".
Al-Farghānī (Latinized as Alfraganus) was a Persian astronomer of the 9th century involved in measuring the diameter of the Earth, and commissioned by Al-Ma'mun. His estimate given above for a degree (562⁄3 Arabic miles) was much more accurate than the 602⁄3 Roman miles (89.7 km) given by Ptolemy. Christopher Columbus uncritically used Alfraganus's figure as if it were in Roman miles instead of in Arabic miles, in order to prove a smaller size of the Earth than that propounded by Ptolemy.
Abu Rayhan Biruni (973-1048) used a new method to accurately compute the Earth's circumference, by which he arrived at a value that was close to modern values for the Earth's circumference.[93] His estimate of 6,339.6 km for the Earth radius was only 31.4 km less than the modern mean value of 6,371.0 km.[94] In contrast to his predecessors, who measured the Earth's circumference by sighting the Sun simultaneously from two different locations, Biruni developed a new method of using trigonometric calculations based on the angle between a plain and mountain top. This yielded more accurate measurements of the Earth's circumference and made it possible for a single person to measure it from a single location.[95][96] Biruni's method was intended to avoid "walking across hot, dusty deserts," and the idea came to him when he was on top of a tall mountain in India. From the top of the mountain, he sighted the angle to the horizon which, along with the mountain's height (which he calculated beforehand), allowed him to calculate the curvature of the Earth.[97][98] He also made use of algebra to formulate trigonometric equations and used the astrolabe to measure angles.

The Shape Of The Earth In Buddhism:
"When it is midday on the continent of Jambudvīpa, the sun is setting on the continent of Pūrvavideha in the east and rising above the continent of [Apara]godānīya in the west, while it is midnight on the continent of Uttarakuru in the north. When it is midday in [Apara]godānīya, the sun is setting in Jambudvīpa and rising in Uttarakuru, while it is midnight in [Pūrva]videha. When it is midday in Uttarakuru, the sun is setting in [Apara]godānīya and rising in [Pūrva]videha, while it is midnight in Jambudvīpa. When it is midday in [Pūrva]videha, the sun is setting in Uttarakuru and rising in Jambudvīpa, while it is midnight in [Apara]-godānīya. Here when Jambudvīpa is in the east [at sunrise], [Pūrva]videha is in the west. If Jambudvīpa is in the west [at sunset], [Pūrva]videha is in the east. If [Apara]godānīya is in the west, Uttarakuru is in the east. If Uttarakuru is in the west, [Apara]godānīya is in the east." (Page #: 295-296 www.bdkamerica.org/system/files/pdf/dBET_T0001_LengthyDiscourses3_2018.pdf)
Black Holes And Galaxies In Buddhism:
"Between every three world systems there is one world interval, which is like the space in the middle of three cart wheels or petals placed so that they touch one another. This world-interval hell (lokahtafikanirayo) measures eight thousand yojanas in size.'"(Anguttara Nikaya 819)
(*It sounds like that there are minimum 3 Habitable Solar Systems in a Galaxy around a Black Hole)
"Even in those world intervals, vacant and abysmal, regions of gloom and impenetrable darkness where the light of the sun and moon, so powerful and mighty, does not reach,819 there too a measureless glorious radiance becomes manifest, surpassing the divine majesty of the devas." (Anguttara Nikaya 127 (1))
"A world that is a thousand times a thousandfold minor world system is called a thousand-to-the-second-power middling world system. 514 (3) A world that is a thousand times a thousand-to-the-second-power middling world system is called a thousand-to-the-third-power great world system. Ananda, the Tathagata can convey his voice as far as he wants in a thousand-to-the-third-power great world system." - The Tathagata (The Buddha) (Anguttara Nikaya The Numerical Discourse 277 |Page:314)
"There is also a larger universe, consisting of a thousand of these small universes, called the middle universe. [In addition,] there is a great universe that consists of a thousand middle universes. This is called the triple thousand-great universe (sanqian taqian shijie). All of the great universe [that comprises many thousands of middle and small universes] undergoes the cycle of creation and destruction, and each locality where sentient beings reside is called a buddha land (buddha-kṣetra)." (LengthyDiscourses Page: 152)
"Between every three world systems there is one world interval," - WORLD INTERVAL in Buddhism sounds like a Black Hole.
Buddha said about a "thousandfold minor world system" too. It sounds like a galaxy with around 1000 world systems. So if a 3 world systems make a WORLD INTERVAL then 1000 world systems can make a LARGE WORLD INTERVAL like a Black Hole. 'ABYSMAL, IMPENETRABLE DARKNESS' mentions a Black Hole. If there are only 3 Buddhist World Systems (including Brahma worlds) in a Galaxy then a WORLD INTERVAL can make a Black Hole with the forces of other Solar Systems in a Galaxy. Buddhist explanaitons about Black Holes, Galaxies, and Unverse are much better than irrelevent verses and fabrications in other religions.
According to Buddhism "There are 3 Habitable World Systems around a WORLD INTERVAL (Black Hole)". But there can be more Solar Systems around a Black Hole (inside a Galaxy) which are not habitabe. "A thousandfold minor world system (Galaxy) can have around 1000 habitable World Systems" too.

World System (Habitable Solar System with Humans, Gods and Brahmas)
A world system has not only vast temporal duration but is also stratified by way of various realms of existence, ranging from the dismal hell realms, worlds of intense suffering, through the animal realm, to the sphere of afflicted spirits (sometimes called "hungry ghosts"); then on to the human realm, and upward through ah ascending series of celestial realms inhabited by the devas (heavenly beings/gods) and brahmas, the deities and divine beings. There are six sensual heavenly realms: the heaven of the four divine kings, the Tavatimsa devas, the Yama devas, the Tusita devas, the devas who delight in creation, and the devas who control what is created by others (3:70/6:10, 8:36, etc.). Above these are the brahma world and still higher realms, spheres of rebirth for those who have mastered the meditative attainments. (Page: 31)

Qur'an 79:30 says Earth is Spread Flat
Some people calling the word "دختها Dahaaha as Ostrich Egg, Egg shaped or Ovel so let's counter there claim
So 1st "بيضة = Bayda means Egg 2nd. "على شكل بيضة = Ealaa Shakl Bayda means Egg Shaped 3rd "بيضة النعامة = Baydat Alnaeama" means Ostrich Egg 4th. "أوفيل = Awfil" means Ovel And 5th "ذختها = Dahaaha" means
    Spread Flat or Expansed
These Muslims don't know Arabic and claim anything about the verses
And let's look at some Tafsirs
1.79.30 Abbas - Tanwir al-Miqbás min Tafsir Ibn 'Abbas (And after that He spread the earth) even then He spread it on the water; it is also said: 2,000 years after that He spread it on the water,
    2.79.30 Tafsir Jalal - Al-Jalalayn and after that He spread out the earth: He made it flat, for it had been created before the heaven, but without having been spread out;
Qur'an never said that Earth is Egg shaped or anything but if still Muslims don't believe in it
Then Earth isn't Egg shaped it's Very Perfect Sphere but not totally a Sphere

The methods of worshipping, afterlife belief, construction of temples and pyramid on square base in forms of pyramid all are same. Now most of people in west don't feel that this could be a coincidence. They have started to believe that a Type 2 civilization on Kardashev scale, capable of doing interstellar voyages, have visited us 15000 years ago and continue to do it years later, who have given the knowledge and helped to build our cities. We have not reached Type 1 yet, and it will take another 500 years to be able to send a probe on interstellar journey, and will take 10000-20000 years to be able to a Type 2 civilization. There are 300 billion planets in milky way galaxy and 60 billion can support life. What if that civilization have colonised those planets??? Who knows that if they were Type 2 doing interstellar voyages 15000 years ago?? Must be a Type 3 civilization doing intergalactic voyages of now. first things first we say the earth is round Praise be to Allah
      Firstly:
The scholars are unanimously agreed that the earth is round, but to human eyes it appears to be flat, because it is very big and its roundness or curvature cannot be seen at close distances. So the one who stands and looks sees it as flat, but when viewed as a whole, in reality it is round.
Ibn Hazm (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
The proofs of the Qur’an and Sunnah indicate that it is round. End quote.
      Secondly:
The verse (interpretation of the meaning) “And Allah has made for you the earth wide spread (an expanse)” [Nooh 71:19] indicates that it is spread out and shaped so that people can feel settled in it and be able to live and prosper in it. Ibn Katheer said:
That is, He spread it out, prepared it, made it stable and made it firm by means of the mountains.
      Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 8/247
Similarly, the verse (interpretation of the meaning) “Have We not made the earth as a bed” [an-Naba’ 78:6] means that it is spread out and prepared for you and for your benefit, so that you can cultivate it, build dwellings in it and travel through it.
      Ibn Katheer said:
That is, it is prepared for people in such a way that they can live in it, and it is firm, stable and steady.
      Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 8/307
And the verse (interpretation of the meaning) “And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion” [al-Hijr 15:19] means We spread it out and placed firm mountains therein. This is like the verse in which Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And it is He Who spread out the earth, and placed therein firm mountains and rivers” [ar-Ra‘d 13:3].
There is no contradiction between saying that it is round and saying that it was spread out, because in fact in its totality it is round, but to the one who stands on it and looks at it, it appears flat, as it appears to everyone.
Ar-Raazi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
If it is said: Do the words “And the earth We spread out” indicate that it is flat?
We would respond: Yes, because the earth, even though it is round, is an enormous sphere, and each little part of this enormous sphere, when it is looked at, appears to be flat. As that is the case, this will dispel what they mentioned of confusion. The evidence for that is the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And the mountains as pegs” [an-Naba’ 78:7]. He called them awtaad (pegs) even though these mountains may have large flat surfaces. And the same is true in this case.
End quote from Tafseer ar-Raazi, 19/131
Shaykh ash-Shanqeeti (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
If the scholars of Islam affirm that the earth is round, then what would they say about the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Do they not look at the camels, how they are created?
And at the heaven, how it is raised?
And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm?
And at the earth, how it is spread out?”
      [al-Ghaashiyah 88:17-20].
Their response will be the same as their response concerning the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water” [al-Kahf 18:86] - that is, as it appears to be in the eye of the beholder, because the sun sets on one country, but remains up in the sky for another, until it rises from the east on the following morning. So the earth looks flat in every region or part of it, because of its immense size.
This does not contradict its real shape, because we may see a very high mountain, but if we climb it and reach its summit we may find a flat surface there, and find an entire nation living there, and some of the people there may not know anything about the rest of the world, and so on. End quote.
      Adwa’ al-Bayaan, 8/428
Shaykh Rafee‘ ad-Deen ibn Waliyullah ad-Dahlawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book at-Takmeel:
Some may understand words such as “made the earth as a bed” [an-Naba’ 78:6], “He spread the earth” [an-Naazi‘aat 79:30] and “…how it is spread out…” [al-Ghaashiyah 88: 20] as meaning that it is flat, whereas the scholars affirm that it is round on the basis of sound evidence, so it is thought that there is a conflict. That may be refuted by the fact that the visible part of it (for a person standing on it) appears flat, because the larger a circle is, the more spread out it is, so we may say that it is flat on the basis of that part of it that is visible to us, and it is round in its totality, on the basis of rational thinking.
Quoted from him by Siddeeq Hasan Khan in his tafseer, Fath al-Bayaan, 15/208
      And Allah knows best.

      on solar eclipse
      Praise be to Allaah.
When the sun was eclipsed at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), he commanded someone to call out “al-salaatu jaami’ah (prayer is about to begin)”, and he led the people in prayer. Then he addressed them and explained to them the reason for the eclipse, and declared their jaahili beliefs to be null and void. He explained to them what they should do, such as praying and making du’aa’ and giving in charity. He (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allaah; they do not become eclipsed for the death or life of anyone. If you see that then call upon Allaah and magnify Him, and pray, and give in charity.” The Muslims did not know when an eclipse would happen, but when it did happen, they would hasten to do what Allaah had prescribed, such as praying etc.
When an eclipse happened, they would be afraid that is was a warning of impending disaster, so they would turn to Allaah and pray to Him to ward off that which they feared. When astronomy and the calculations of the movements of the sun and moon became well known in later times, and it became known that the experts could know when an eclipse was likely to happen, the scholars (‘ulamaa’) pointed out that this did not change the ruling, and that the Muslims still had to do what they were commanded to do at the time of an eclipse, even if they knew about it in advance. But it is not prescribed to concern ourselves with the matter of predicting eclipses, because that is not what Allaah and His Messenger commanded us to do. The scholars also explained that an eclipse may be a sign or a cause of something bad happening to people. When the questioner says that eclipses do not cause hrm, she is speaking without knowledge and objecting to the sharee’ah of Allaah. People do not necessarily know of the events which Allaah causes to happen at the time of an eclipse, and some people may know about that whilst others do not. It could be that because of the Muslims’ prayers, Allaah wards off bad things which are known only to Him. The Muslim must submit to the ruling of Allaah and act in accordance with His sharee’ah, and have faith in His wisdom, because He is the All-Knowing, All-Wise, may He be glorified and exalted.
(Written by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahmaan al-Barraak).
Solar and lunar eclipses are two of the signs of Allaah with which He scares His slaves and reminds them of some of the things which will happen on the Day of Resurrection, when the sun will be wound round and will lose its light and be overthrown and the stars will fall (cf. al-Takweer 81:1), and the sight will be dazed, the moon will be eclipsed and the sun and moon will be joined together (by going into one another, or folded up, or deprived of their light) (al-Qiyaamah 75:8-9). This is why Muslims should be alarmed by eclipses. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fear Allaah very much, and one day he came out in an agitated state, thinking that the Hour had begun, when the sun was eclipsed during his lifetime… This is indicative of the great extent to which he kept the Hour in mind and feared it. We, on the other hand, have become negligent and most people no longer think of eclipses as anything other than a natural phenomenon which they go out to watch with special glasses, carrying cameras. They limit themselves to the worldly scientific explanation without understanding the reminder of the Hereafter which it brings. This is one of the signs of hard-heartedness and a lack of concern about the matters of the Hereafter. It reflects a lack of fear of the onset of the Hour, and ignorance of the aims of sharee’ah and the reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to feel fear when these eclipses happened. The Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) used to stand to pray the eclipse prayer, because they believed that if indeed the Hour had come, they would not then be counted negligent of their prayer, and if this eclipse was nothing to do with the Hour, then they would not lose anything by praying, for they would have earned a great reward. We ask Allaah to make us among those who fear Him and who are afraid of the Hour. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad.

I remember when I started being skeptical about the Quran when I was younger, one of the many things that didn't make any sense to me was that the Quran never mentions anything about dinosaurs...yet it has time to talk about bees, ants, pigs and cows...how weird. Anyone would agree that dinosaurs and the era in which they lived takes a very important place in our Earth's history.
It would almost seem like the author of the Quran had no idea of their existence, since the first dinosaur fossils were discovered in 1819, and Momo clearly died waaaay before that...how strange :)
I think it would be nice as a new series of video to instead of talking about the Quran's mistakes, you would talk about "why did the Quran never mentioned these obvious things that we all are aware of nowadays?" - Dinosaurs being clearly one of the biggest miss.

If you want to know more Google Zero, dating of scriptures, or visit the Srjan site, or centre for Indic studies or Arth the cultural festival site. The Mughals in India didn’t bring any new knowledge. - even the Lal kila mosque site is a Ganpati temple base. It was not Greek philosophers were not the first to figure out the spherical nature of earth or the basic understanding of how the universe around earth is structured. Hindu literature like Vedas talked about this around 4000 years ago at the very least. Here is an example, although there are many more instances:
    मध्ये समस्ताण्डस्य भूगोलो व्योम्नि तिष्ठति
    - In the midst of the Universe, the spherical Earth stays.
References like "Bhu(earth) Mandala(circling system)" and "Bhu(earch) Gola(sphere)" are very common all across Hindu literature which predate the 2000 year mark which mention here.

Other tafsirs and Islamic scholars explain that the Earth is flat, where on Earth did they get that ideas from??? Are they incompetent and don't understand Arabic?
Tafsir Ibn Attiyah 71:19 says "if the Earth were round then the water would not lie still."
Tafsir Mawardi 13:3 says "which is a counter argument against those who claim that it is round like a ball.”
Tafsir al-Jajalayn on 79:30: "As for His words sutihat ‘laid out flat’ this on a literal reading suggests that the earth is flat which is the opinion of most of the scholars of the revealed Law and not a sphere as astronomers ahl al-hay’a have it even if this latter does not contradict any of the pillars of the Law."
Tafsir Thalabi 88:20: "and it is apparent in the ayah that the earth is flat, not round."
The Islamic scholar al-Baghdadi: "he spread the Earth flat, which is why He called it bisatan (that which is spread flat; a carpet) contrary to the allegations of those philosopher and astrologers who say that the Earth is spherical and not flat.”
The Islamic scholar al-Qahtani: "And Earth in the reckoning of the rightly guided is flat … And their evidence is the truthful and clear Quran.”

own feelings. Allah was crate by Muhammad’s illusion. Quran even did not full
fill a script standard it is a simple collection of words and phrases. The story
of Quran is not harmonies and collide each other. Islam was spread to the world by horrific war.
The Muslim warriors were very cruel and forced the people to accept Muslim by force
not by teaching them. Till know Muslim countries

It is believed that Mohammed could not read or write. So he would have told his ideas and philosophies to someone to write them down.. But did they write what they were told by Mohammed?

1:54 As far as I remember, in Avesta there are a few verses that point to round earth, and that is before Greek discovery that Earth is round. But if you think about it, for a mountain folk (and Aryanam Vaejah, the "best land" described in Avesta, is mountainous, and much of Central Asia, the birthplace of zoroastrianism, is too) to not think of the world as flat.

800 years before Muhammad lived the Greeks had figured out the circumference of the earth and its shape. Eratosthenes calculated the Earth's circumference without leaving Alexandria.

      Hinduism is an atheism
      I give example
      Human evolution
Vishnu the personification of preservative aspect of the Universe
1st avatar of Vishnu was Fish 🐠
      2nd Avatar was Turtle 🐢

      Now
      In last 150 years

9th avatar of Vishnu was Buddha
      So who is Vishnu?
The ideal creation of the Universal energy is Vishnu who preserve the earth
Like Nobel Peace price is given to most ideal person every year
      While
      Abrahamic (Jews, christian, islam)

      Adam eve
Which Science says the humanity born out of 2 humans

I mean, Eratosthenes calculated the circumference of the earth, and he wasn't even that far off. Only off by roughly 500 km, which is pretty incredible. Allah somehow didn't transfer this knowledge or arranged for it to be transferred to the tribes of Arabia?
